Did you have the MY 22 or MY 22.5 MSRP on your window sticker?
I assume 22.5, I just paid for it last week.

There was a certificate for $2,575 waiting for you when you purchased? If it was a MY 22.5 MSRP that is what you should have received.

Yup, everything is constantly revolving and hopefully it works out in all our favor. I’m still working with my dealer to try and have it knocked off at signing. I mean $95 is still $95 and I won’t be $1500 out of pocket for 2 months.

Im glad we are having this conversation because otherwise I/we wouldn’t know otherwise any small little details.
Yep, I agree…. Speaking of photos where the hell are ours!!!

That is kind of the issue right now. Some of us have MY 22.5 pricing on the window sticker but the certificates that the dealer can see don’t reflect the correct price protection from Ford. I was just seeing what you had going on. Thanks for the info

This is what I was told.

Price protection would be the base amount of msrp from time of 2022 order to time it comes in plus the 825 rebate that we factored in.

Regarding the Bronco photo sent from Ford- if it helps anyone- I received mine 2 weeks after the build date. My original “build date” was 3/11. I received the email with picture on 3/25.
Hope everyone receives theirs soon!

Not sure what is going on with ordertrack. It now shows 3/14 blend- and everything else prior to this has been 3/15 blend. Now shows rail for the first time ever.

My 3/14 blend date was used as a reference not a definitive cutoff. The reference being those in the beginning of our build week have MY'22 pricing window stickers. And those built later in the week have MY'22.5 pricing.

The certificates in the Smart Vincent system are already there. Dealer can see if one is present by searching for your name/address. It will be there or it won't. That certificate is only for those that had a qualifying MY'21 order (reservation/order before 3/19/2021).

The price difference between MY'22 and MY'22.5 is handled differently in that the dealer has to submit to Ford for the difference which will be reimbursed to the dealer. Some dealers will wait till they receive the funds before issuing compensation. Others may give the credit upfront and wait for the reimbursement from Ford to balance their books.
Where is it written that the difference between 22 and 22.5 are handled differently and dealers will need to submit to Ford to be reimbursed? The FAQ page just references a certificate that will be applied at delivery.

So far it is not anywhere and any information everyone has supplied is somewhat heresay. As of right now though. Smart Vincent does not recongize the MY22.5 price difference and may/may never recognize it. I relayed what my dealers rep told them and some others have put their information along as well and people who have bought already have been able to get their price protection, just not through the certificate though.

I'd advise you to contact your dealer so that they may be aware ahead of time and figure how how they will handle it until @Ford Motor Company makes it easier ofr everyone.

Hey Guys! First post but I've been following this thread since it was created. After waiting since August 2020 I honestly didn't know if I would make it through this process. I finally got the call tonight that my Bronco arrived at the dealer on a truck. Probably won't be able to get it for a couple of days due to work, but I'm looking forward to driving around all weekend with no roof!

I want to thank you all who have been more active in this thread. I have been able to better follow my build and delivery process because of the things I learned here.

* I too should have started out with a thank you for all the knowledge gained through reading this thread. I did find someone speculate that on hold at the rail yard could be something keeping it from being loaded onto a transporter like a dead battery, flat tire, damage or hopefully it is something less benign like driver shortage? Thinking driver shortage would not create on hold though, unfortunately.

@First BaseMan or anyone else with info. I am technologically challenged but I found this. I have been following @First BaseMan thinking we might be on the same train car even thought I haven't looked up railroad information. I was just trying to wait patiently figuring it doesn't matter when it gets here. From what I can decipher, this might be the last information we are able to track until we get a dealer call. I know I have seen comments about "on hold" as I have read this entire thread over the past few weeks but couldn't find the exact reference in regards to what is the final rail destination. Hopefully we are both on the same train car, or even better, maybe unloaded? Mine is headed to Sullivan, Mo (Laura Ford). I am in St. Louis.
