I went leather. MGV feels like my boat to me.
I also don’t care for the look of the non-carpet floors. Never had issues with Caroet or leather in my Gen 1 Raptor. Also wanted power seats since I tend to for some reason like to adjust my seat position often.

It does appear the MGV seats do have rear cupholders.

Also the Leather rear seats don't have a 60/40 fold?

When this isn't off roading/kid hauling/camping it is going to be carrying things from Home Depot. 60/40 is a must. Leather doesn't have 60/40 rear fold?
Other way around I have one , leather is the only way to get the cup holder in rear in fold down arm rear , still60/40 split and leather is only way to have power front seats. Also leather makes you have to have carpet instead of rubber wash out floor.

I went MGV because I mountain bike a lot and am constantly covered in red clay dirt… the ease of cleaning that and the rubber floors sold me.

I've been manufacturing vinyl sheet for 40 years, I choose leather whenever possible.

Has anybody actually seen any pics of MGV in the BRaptor? I've searched and keep coming up empty.

How is it possible we’re on Page 5 and no one here knows we’re talking about Raptors?

MGV, I'll get leather for half the price if/when I get tired of it, and it will be new.

So I’m looking at the descriptions in the builder (yes, I’m talking about Raptor Bronco)…
  1. It says leather seats are heated. It doesn’t say MGV seats are heated. WTF! I thought heated seats were part of the MID package. Since the BRaptor comes standard with HIGH package don’t they ALL have heated seats?? Or is this a typo??
  2. It says the MGV has 60/40 rear seat. It doesn’t say that about the leather. WTF! The regular Bronco w/ leather has 60/40 split. Does this mean Ford went out of their way to make a different back seat for the BRaptor that actually removes functionality? Or is this a typo??
  3. It says both the MGV and the leather have rear cupholders in the armrest. WTF! In the regular Bronco you need leather seats to get rear cupholders. Again, are we to believe that Ford is suddenly offering rear cupholders on the BRaptor? Or is this another typo?!

Not sure how to make an educated decision here with such poor documentation from Ford. Interested to hear how y’all thought through this.

Just looked at my build preview and I have MGV but doesn't list heated seats. But when you drill down in the Ford configurator it does list MGV & heated seats. If MGV doesn't have heated seats it's a dealbreaker.

I am not sure if the MGV seats are MGV bolsters and a fabric or Alcantara insert. It would be really nice to see some photos/specifications.

Why would you do that haha

The MGV is about function. It 100% will not have alcantara or suede inserts.

It also does have heated seats.

This isnt going to be the first time Ford leaves out info or does a half ass job on the configurator

To be fair, I keep going back and forth. I don't need the power seats. And if I'm ever going to have car seats in it, I want something that I'm not going to stress out about w/ the gremlins eating after dark.

I'd like to see a new poll with the two types of leather, and MGV as options. Get a better idea of what the takes were between the two leather options.

I have always had leather in all vehicles. The MGV is super comfortable and easy to clean. I wouldn't switch to leather if I could.

Also, mine has heated seats so it is available
