I've been lurking on these forums since the early days of placing my reservation (day 1). Was one of lucky few to get the GT only to later find out I need to pay $25k over to actually buy it. My Raptor order has been placed and I see it in my Ford account.

Now, my original Wildtrak order was confirmed at MSRP and the dealer reiterated that I can keep the Wildtrak at MSRP. He also claims that $25k is under market value and that they're are fetching $60-75k ADM (this is inSouthern CA for those of you following along). Needless to say, I'm pissed. Trying to figure out a diplomatic approach to getting the Raptor at MSRP -- but also totally committed to going nuclear on these guys to hold them accountable. I really don't need the Raptor and I'm prepared to lose it. This dealer behavior has got to end.

Please, if you have any solid advice as to how we, as GT holders, can get dealerships to pay, I'm all ears. I know Ford isn't prepared to do anything to help us out -- that by itself is a continued let down. I've never owned a Ford product, and this may just have been the last straw in terms of getting me to purchase one.

Back in October when I went to change my order to a 22, I asked my dealer about waiting for a Raptor. He told me there’s no way I was getting it at msrp, so I just went ahead and converted my order to a 22. I’m sure there are a few dealers who will sell for msrp, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. I don’t know how difficult it is to have your order moved to a different dealer, but it sounds impossible right now from what I’ve read on this board.

Good question...I've read so many horror stories, and tried to put myself in the shoes of the offended party. Most of my ideas are not completely legal though

Your Wildtrak order has been converted to the Raptor per my understanding. It is gone, it is not coming to that dealer in the future.

giving that GT might have been the worst thing Ford has done to you yet.

True, but can the Raptor order be converted back to a Wildtrak before the end of the month? This was something I was also looking for an answer. And if I can convert it back, does the dealer then lose my GT allocation? My guess is no, but not sure.

This is not true at all. He would have to convert from a Wildtrak to a Raptor in the same way he would have had to convert a Wildtrak to a Badlands. If he does nothing it will stays Wildtrak

Dealers in my local are listing on the lot Raptor F 150’s anywhere from $7500-30K over sticker. I think the odds of scoring a Braptor at sticker are remote. However, doesn’t hurt to keep trying. Good luck.

The only shot at making dealers pay for marking up hand-raiser allocations, is for Ford to cut those dealers’ allocations going forward. I’m dubious that Ford will actually do anything, though, frankly.

Ford has consistently let the dealers take advantage of regular Bronco reservations but I thought Ford would do a better job of looking out for the early reservation hand-raisers. They have not.

Yes, it is true, exactly as he posted in the first post and in the post above yours.

Even if he wants to change it back, I doubt the dealer will comply and even if they do, he changed models and will eat the MY2022.5 price increase.

You would need the dealer to change it back, I don't think they would, it would be worth less to them, you would then be subject to the 2022.5 MY price increases at a minimum.

The price increases on the 22.5MY Wildtrak were modest. That's the least of my concern. I'm puzzled though why the dealer would offer to let me have my original order at MSRP if that causes them to lose one Raptor allocation -- that clearly doesn't make sense from their perspective. Maybe he doesn't realize that and now that I have that in writing I can use that as leverage...

I believe he keeps the allocation either way

The dealer keeps the allocation independent of what the customer decides. This was clearly delineated in the question and answer bulletin forwarded to dealer principals and bronco managers.
