these threads are always so amusing, the number of salty grumpy "don't you dare touch my stuff" people is just baffling. But hey, if being grumpy and overly protective over a truck floats your boat, have at it. But it's not a million dollar super car.
I've had people peek into my windows shading their eyes with their hands, I've had people take photos, I don't mind. Maybe some need a pit crew with a mobile garage when they park in public?Life's too short to spend it grumpy IMO

I for one would just smile and put the little horse on my dash, next to a duck or hot wheels or what ever else fun thing someone might put out as a fun greeting.
Right on! So many obnoxious tough guys in here. People weirdly have a hard time with simple, fun gestures. Not like someone is even touching your shit, they're placing a tiny plastic horse on another piece of plastic. They're not digging up your mom's grave ya grumpy dorks. Have a coke & a smile.

For those of you who don’t want someone to touch your car don’t worry, I’m sure whatever gift is being given can be chucked from across the parking lot to land on your hood. 😂😂😂

And how silly to be so worried about the car being touched when it’s designed to handle off-roading

seems a fun gesture to me 🤷‍♀️ But to each their own…..

Don't try and force this "trend". We understand you're just trying to have fun, but most people would prefer their vehicle not to be touched.

The duck/horse thing is just Bronco people copying Jeep people. Unoriginal and forced.
I have to agree. Both the Jeep wave and duck duck Jeep have origins. Trying to do something similar just seems like a way to try to fit in.
"Look at us"
"We have something too"

Agree That whatever "things" Bronco owners come up with needs to be a bit organic. Don't mind the toy horse or sasquatch thing...its all in fun and F the loosers that can't smile.
BTW...better keep jeepers your friends for a while....they will be the only people on the trails to help out when needed. It'll be a long time before there are enough Broncos in the wild to be meaningful.

Hasn't this subject been beaten to death on a few other threads? And I thought the consensus was Bronco owners don't want to copy Jeep owners with ducks and waves.
Awww. Let them have their fun, if they want to do it. Its a nice, neighborly gesture. It might catch on with some people!

People are free to do what they want but I will always openly question why grown adults have toy ducks, hot wheels and plastic horses in their cars at all times.

carry on.

Would now be a good time to bring up that little snot machines flinging mom's SUV door open are going to be doing far more damage than someone placing a duckie?

This would go straight to the nearest trash can in the parking lot.

If someone leaves an unwanted object like a flyer or a rubber duck or a toy horse on your car and you throw it on the ground, who is the litterer?

I have a lizard that my 24 year old daughter gave me for a dash mount (19 years ago) when I had a 2001 F150 Super Crew , it has been in 3 other FORD trucks since then and some how survived it's extinction to live another day in our Bronco. Love traditions.......thx Madi!
