Inspection before bringing her home

I get my Bronco tomorrow.
Is there anything I should be looking for (known defects) before taking her home?

I plan to do a walkthrough of the vehicle looking for defects.
Wondering if there are any known defects or issues I should be aware of?

There is a thread by a member Cat that has a check list that seems helpful. In the end, the Bronco is so hard to come by, that I am not going to be overly picky on minor paint chips, or cosmetic issues. No like I am going to walk away. If you have a solid dealer, most issues can be handled under warranty. I am sure the negative 6G stalkers will pipe in and give you lots of minor problems to look for...Congratulations and make sure and post some pics. Enjoy.

I walked around it, made sure no dents and scratches, sat in it to make sure it's what I ordered, that was it. I had test driven one a while before and knew I'll like it, so I didn't even test drive mine, figured there'll be nothing showing up in a 15 min drive around the block that won't show up later that day and wanted to get out of there. Warranty is there for a reason.
We were done and out the door within an hour and then I test drove it up our local mountain here. Still no issues after almost 4k miles, except my iphone no longer connecting automatically. I don't really care and dealer has some module on order to switch out and see if that fixes it.

I sure wasn't gonna crawl around under the car or wiggle things in the engine bay. Dealer is great and honest and their service dept is top shelf, so had no worries there. But had a blast driving up the mountain with the roof open!

I spent a good hour checking mine. My dealer did little to no pre delivery stuff. I'm glad I went through the checklist I posted because my passenger wiper wasn't even bolted on and flew up onto the hood when I turned them on.

I guess six months of sitting at MAP isn't long enough for them to find issues like this.

Happy to report she was clean. Very little rust underneath. Nothing like what some of the people are reporting.

Gotta say that the iconic silver is WAY prettier in person.
It reflects skylight and gets a slight blue tint to it. Already a joy to drive. Looking forward to Summer beach days.

If you have a competent dealer they should go through everything for you. Mine did. Found that the driver side window motor didn't work and scheduled the warranty repair right then. I drove it for a few days then took it back in and had them fix it once the part came in.

I didn't spend a lot of time doing my own examination other than maybe a five minute walk around.

Check list was great. I sent it to my dealer ahead of pickup. They'd never seen something like that before but plan to use it on all their Broncos going forward.
