Looking for suggestions on replacing the 6.5" Kick panel speakers. I'm looking for a little more base, but don't want to add an amp.

Which mid bass speaker did you get?Their is more than enough highs coming from dash so a good pro audio mid bass speaker worked great in mine. Get the proper Metra adapter plate and 6.5 and it will make a big difference. You will have to trim the back side of the speaker grill a bit. Chisel worked great for me.

Most people have found upgrading those without an amp has made it worse. For the price of a decent set of speakers down there you could spend a little more and amp the factory ones for a significant improvement in bass. I was pleasantly surprised the difference that made. Keep in mind we are still talking about 6.5” speakers with a specific frequency range. You aren’t gonna hit the lows with those. As someone else mentioned an all in one 8” unit would be the easiest course of action to add some lower end bass.Looking for suggestions on replacing the 6.5" Kick panel speakers.
