Just a heads up for the peeps that are sitting at the rail yard closest to their dealer waiting on a truck.

Mine has been there for 8 days. Literally 10 miles from my dealer.

Dealer told me that I should not expect it “anytime soon”. What ever that means. I called him the morning it was unloaded off the train last week.

He also told me he had seen them sit there for weeks and some for over a month waiting to be delivered.
That’s crazy. I asked my dealer how often they usually deliver cars from the rail yard and he just said “good question”. Sounds like it’s totally unpredictable.

Yep, Crazy. He sounded as frustrated as any of us. When you get the tracking information from the trucking company you can see ALL the Fords waiting in the rail yard. Not just your Bronco.

My dealer is showing about a dozen sitting in the rail yard. Several F250’s, 3 Broncos, bunch of Bronco sports and F150’s. That’s a bunch of sales sitting for him unable to be processed. His lot has maybe 15 new Fords at the moment. I’m sure I’m not the only person who is bugging him for their new car/truck/SUV.

Doesn't surprise me at all. They threatened truckers jobs years ago with autonomous trucks. Watched some documentary on it lol. They aren't paid for waiting at ports anymore. Under paid, under appreciated.

Not sure if I feel happy for you or embarrassed. Ha ha .
Maybe I should feel embarrassed? I actually bought one after seeing them on 515 garage on youtube a while back. Mines a Cyber orange topless. Has shocks, hood lifts, steering wheel turns. I'll be 50 in a month. 😁
Awesome neighbors you have!

I heard that the MAP folks have nicknames for specific ice mountain build dates. They’ve nicknamed the 1/26ers the “clusterf*cks”.
Well that’s encouraging. Definitely sounds like more than one problem going on.

Wish they could give some insight on what is the current plan.
Rumor is that they are planning to slash our tires this weekend so we can be delayed even longer

My husband was telling me that somewhere here on Bronco6g that someone posted communications from Ford and it said something to the effect of "what the internets have named "ice mountain" like they don't all agree with that shitstorm.
B6g is in charge of naming mountains...

Well, my frustration is getting the better of me. Almost 600 days since my reservation and 375 days since I placed my original order for a 2021, and I'm no better off now than I was then. Rather than completely abandon my order, however, I have begun perusing dealer websites to see if I can get something close to my order on a dealer lot. I'm willing to forego the manual and my first color choice (velocity blue), but I'm sticking to either a Badlands Sasquatch or a Wildtrak. I've made about a half dozen inquires to dealers within a 200 mile radius. If one of these dealers has a rig on their lot and comes through at msrp, I'll go that route (worth a shot). The next step will be to order a Tesla and see which comes first.

By the way, I am still amazed that dealers are continuing to look for nearly $100k for a First Edition. I can understand a premium, but $35-40k?
I heard WildTraks are commanding $70K+.
