Figured out I would share, since there aren't many good options to get the correct connector for the dash and tower speakers. I went ahead and purchased all the proper crimp tools, connectors and high quality speaker wire to make my own adapters and have some spare materials. I am an Engineering, so I researched the connector specs and made sure that all the materials I choose meet the connector manufacturer standards.
If anyone is looking for connectors to make the speaker swap plug and play please send me a PM. I am thinking of having some for sale to recoup at least part of the cost of the tools I had to purchase.
The wire I am using is 18 GA, which is the same that Ford uses in their harness. This ensures that there is no voltage drop at the adapter and gives you the best possible signal to the speaker.
The cables are already pre-wired with the spade connectors with the correct polarity (in my adapter red is positive and red/black negative) per the wiring diagram shared here in the forum. So truly plug and play.
I was able to swap out both my speakers in less than 30 mins after making this adapter, taking my time to remove the grills which are kind of flimsy.
I bought some cheap Kenwood speakers from Amazon, but I do recommend them! For $30 a pair, the sound is much better than the stock ones. They are tiny but I can even hear some bass coming from them and the mid and highs are much better too.

Nicely done. I remember when I would just cut the wires and crimp the new connectors.

Guess this is good to maintain the stock harness in the event you'd revert back, I suppose?

Yes, is a bit nerve racking even for me to cut off the connector of a brand new car. Although, I doubt I will go back to stock.

Sorry, should have mentioned it originally. I am looking for $10 per pair for the guys here in the forum. The full set will be two pairs (dash and tower speakers). Shipping will be extra, but I think is only a couple of dollars via USPS. The connectors weight less than 4 oz.

I could probably rig up something, but actually with the extra cable on the adapter it will be pretty easy to splice the cable from there using one of this quick splice connectors.
https://www.amazon.com/G·PEH-Solder...45675099&sprefix=splicer+18+ga,aps,104&sr=8-7

Splicing on the adapter cable is pretty straightforward, since the polarity is already identified. And you are leaving your factory harness untouched.

I think the adapters have to tie into the footwell speakers for full power to in line converter

Yes, I think the tower pods do not get the full signal. And it has been mentioned the best way is the foot well. But is pretty much the same approach. Crutchfield has an adapter for the footwell speaker, so you could splice the signal from there.

Nicely done. 👍

If you’re going to sell these, you should choose different color wires for the two leads based on the polarity.

Also keep in mind some people have the B&O package with 10 speakers, so they will also have a center channel speaker in addition to the R and L dash speakers, plus a subwoofer and kick panel speakers in addition to the R and L rear speakers on the roll bars. They obviously will need more connectors than just the two pairs you are thinking about.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions!
I did pick a wire that has different colors. One cable is pure red and the other one is red with a black line. But the black line did not show well in the pictures. I do want to look into what it takes for the B&O system, but my Bronco has the base sound, so I do not have access to one with the B&O to do the research. If someone helps me to figure out the connectors they use on the B&O I can look into making some for those as well. Is kind of a hobby for me right now, and trying to help out people, I am sure one of the big companies like metra will come out with something, but in the meantime I do not mind doing it.

Thanks everyone for the interest! I think I will soon ran out of materials (I really did not have that many). But in case if there is something left, you guys can check directly the eBay link. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/194874277092) I will ship until I run out of the ones I have, but I am not sure I will make more. Maybe in the future, but right now my normal work and family life are keeping me pretty busy as well.

I changed the rear speakers today. Took some pictures to share. I am surprised how much fuller the sound is just with the speaker change. I can compare it to the Bose Premium Audio on my wife's Nissan Armada, and I actually like it more now in the Bronco, just because of the speakers. The Armada still has more bass, but now if I compare it with the Bronco, the mid's and high's sound a bit more flat.
I am really happy and for the price of the speakers and ease of installation, I think is a must do for anyone with the base sound system (y)
