I could have done a better job with a hand saw, plywood, couple of machine screws and a hand drill.

Per Weathertech, if you have Sasquatch and OEM Tube Steps and Rock Rails, these were designed for that. I explained that Sasquatch is an optional package on other model trims, too. Maybe they will revise their website.I just want to be clear…if anyone knows the correct answer please speak up. On the Weathertech order page, if you have SAS and OEM side steps, you select Wildtrak as your model, and they will fit an OBX with SAS?
In other words, if you have any model with SAS and the steps or rails, you select “Yes” for Wildtrak?
Thanks @Cat, and thank you also for your input On several other threads, especially the thorough checklist for dealership delivery!Per Weathertech, if you have Sasquatch and OEM Tube Steps and Rock Rails, these were designed for that. @AZ_BRONC ...awww...you are very welcome. My pleasure! Thanks @Cat, and thank you also for your input On several other threads, especially the thorough checklist for dealership delivery!
Not sure debris will hit the gap...the centerline *dislodge of the tire is well below the gap b/t fender and mud flap.I would have given them a chance but when I saw the massive gap between where the flap stops and the flare starts... What's the point of putting these on? there will be a ton of junk that gets through that wide open window.
however, I'm curious to see how they look with tube steps. Please post photos when you get them installed
I’m seriously thinking about finding a trucker mud flap and cutting it / screwing it on like you have. All these hard plastic flaps are coming off the first time your drive over a rock, log, ledge or drainage rut across the trail.Wow. Here I was thinking maybe I jumped the gun a bit doing my own semi-custom flaps as there were no good alternatives and wondering if I should have waited a few more weeks....
But I like mine *far* more than the Weathertech's (and far more than the $400 gatorbacks as well).

Pretty simple fix. Offer two designs. One for the folks putting on 37s, and one for the other 99%Sorry! This is one of those products where the engineers were over thinking it and ended up with a product that might check the boxes the engineers thought were most important, but ultimately the vast majority of buyers will not buy.
Form and Function are always important factors, but for the vast majority of us aesthetics, are just as important and sometimes more so. As someone with engineering background this is a complete failure all the way around. Most of us will not remove our fender flares on a consistent basis if ever, so adding an extra attachment point that makes that more difficult will not affect most of the buyers. Yes, they will sell some, but nowhere near the number had they considered the actual "look" of the flaps to begin with. I had high hopes for WT, but I guess I will be looking elsewhere as it appears they are dead set to continue down this path with this product.
When you go to order, they ask if you have Wildtrak then ask if you have the 315 width tires (which is Sasquatch; see picture). Someone previously said that they called to confirm that they will fit a Squatched Badlands with the rock rails (and the WeatherTech site says that they fit rock rails and side steps; people in this thread posted pics of both). I’d say you’re say to say “no” to Wildtrak and “yes” to 315’s for your Squatched OBXI just want to be clear…if anyone knows the correct answer please speak up. I need a temporary solution as well, providing my Wildtrak gets here while we're still dealing with slush and salt on the roads. I may pull the trigger on these so I have something for protection. I'm not crazy about the looks either, but for $80 it beats rock chips and slush blocking the rear door.No worries. Definitely not for everyone, but I think they're good enough for me for a temp solution at any rate... as long as they do what they were intended to do. I really believe they're less obnoxious in person though.
At least I didn't have to drill anything, so replacing should be a quick job if something better comes along.
