It can still be for a client order even though it says “retail”. It just depends on how the dealer placed the order. It’s safe to assume it was not a reservation holder, but likely an order placed at the dealership level. However, I know that dealers will also be given 22MY mannequins for use since most are needing to sell their 21MY mannequins at this point. I can tell you though as a dealership employee, they are NOT just getting “stock” to sell on the lot. That is not Ford’s vision for the Bronco.

I was under the impression that green window stickers were custom orders and blue were dealer stock orders? No?

No, I don't believe that's the case. I seem to recall plenty of folks with reservations or orders showing pics of their Broncos arriving at dealers with that same retail label.

Window Stickers that are green are “special order”. But stickers that are blue are NOT necessarily stock. They can be various O/T (order type). Examples include stock, as well as courtesy deliveries, plan orders, and mannequins for dealer use.

There's been a little activity lately. They were working on some Broncos at Ice Mountain and moving between MAP and a shipping yard. There's some more snow moving in Superbowl Sunday and then a warmup mid-week.

that's probably where my heater core is coming from!

From seeing the broncos on ice mountain, either non sasquach base models are not being effected or no one but me has ordered a non sas base

That's the quickest way to do it. It doesn't hurt anything and it doesn't slow down production

I disagree not the quickest no way. A crew in the cold popping the hood is not quicker than an assembly line type of operation. It could be they don’t have the modules boards and/or crews so this is a slow way to proceed. If the goal was to be faster, there are many options and still do in the yard if no space or moving is the constraint.

Ken, thank you for taking time to do this video. It looks like I won't see my Bronco until '24 if I'm lucky. So, just getting to see them on the ground helps a bit with the long long wait I have in front of me.

The clock starts when the gate opens. You have 1 minute to find your Bronco. If you succeed, you get it free!

No problem on the video. It was fun. A buddy and I had a few drinks while working on it. As far as ice mountain, they barely made a dent. There's still a lot of Broncos there. At least they're making some progress. I'm hoping to get my Bronco by the end of this year. I ordered Oct 2021.
