Do you have dealers in Canada/BC? No way it'll be efficient for me to potentially buy this and ship it up here.
Yes we have dealers in Canada. Please use our dealer locator on our website to find your local dealer.

The point of this thread that I started last October was to ask if the soft top was compact enough to be carried back inside the vehicle after installing a hard top. The consensus seems to be that yes, it is. I guess we won't know for certain until someone actually tries it.

Of course, if you're planning a cross-country trip, rather than a less-than-a-day-each-way trip as I am contemplating, then the impact might be of greater concern, of carrying the soft top home on your ability to carry other luggage.
Thanks for this. Yes thats what would worry me because I wouldnt have the luxury of dropping the back seats.

How's the hardtops, both types ADV is creating, with handling a roof rack or roof top tent? I know this has probably been answered before, but aside from securing my Bronco in Chicago and break ins, the roof top tent is my biggest gravitation to a hard top!

BTW, you guys did great on design and I think the price fits the bill!!!

Yeah, they have some great 3d modelers.
Hey bud, don't buy it if you don't want too. Hopefully Justin Trudeau doesn't require y'all to buy one.

I have a factory softtop folded up in my garage. I can take measurements for you if you like. I have a 4dr bronco, that helps as well?

What surprises me is all the people telling them how to run their business and what prices they should be charging.

B6G members are experts in fiberglass, CAD,
marketing and financial analysis. Surprised that there are not 30 hard top manufacturers who emerging from the membership.
I agree. I've never seen so many fiberglass experts opine on how ADV could sell their top for 200 bucks with free shipping. People ask for an aftermarket hard top, ADV answered that request, and now many just want to bitch about something they don't have to buy. Maybe some of these experts can jump into the market, and produce a better top at a cheaper price. SMDH

As I said, I wish the top were cheaper. But, it's not. I raised hell today about the price of gas per gallon of which I can't do anything about, so I bought it anyway. And that's the same place everyone here is with the ADV top. Myself included. We can raise hell, and buy it anyway, or do without.

"Inside and out with the current cost of materials and the amount of prep to do Fiberglass correctly i estimated light, go on you if you can do it for 1000."

No, this is what you said. Your point was to refute my statement with "I estimated light, good on you if you can" to somehow make it seem you know better or that somehow I don't understand the costs, or whatever your point was. Maybe it was just to be right or have the last word.

In some parts of the country, like SoCal, PNW, Houston, Atlanta, Vegas, you would be hard pressed to find someone who could/would do it for that just due to the cash flow and spending habits of higher rollers in those areas.

But for the rest of the country a fully competent painter can (and does) do them for that, has been. And still making some profit. Not retirement-level, gank-the-customer as much as possible profit, but some. Enough to justify the man-hours I invest. Otherwise, why do it?

Sure, if a customer wants top-shelf BASF or PPG products, that cost goes up accordingly. You can't buy either of those brands' materials enough to do a top for $1000.

I've used Nason brand bases, HOK candies and clears. And it works every time.

FWIW I agree with the purchase price being only part of the expense. Shipping, labor to install for those not capable, and painting if needed. Whether it be just the outside, or inside and out. It's never free.

To do a color match inside AND out would still be roughly half that. Honestly looking at about $1200, everything included. Just the outside, depending on color, can be done between $800-1000. I don't postulate on whether it can be done or not, because I've done it. Numerous times in using BC/CC paint, Single stage matte black, and Raptor liner. Literally dozens,
Just as long as your making money on it dude that's awesome. I really don't have that much intrest in arguing paint pricing with you. So you do as many as you can, your customers will appreciate it 👍

I just want to know from ADV if you have to paint the top or not in a clear yes or no so I can know if I have to figure it in to the total cost, how hard is this.
It comes finished on the outside in either Shadow Black and Oxford White. It will also be available in a primed, paint ready finish.

Guess I'll be a soft top forever. I appreciate the cost of doing business, but I can't imagine spending that much on a hard top.
Fortunately here in SO CAL there won't be any top on for most of the year anyway.

Wow that's like 1/5 the cost of my entire bronco base. At this price I will probably go OEM but I am glad to have options.
