How's the hardtops, both types ADV is creating, with handling a roof rack or roof top tent? I know this has probably been answered before, but aside from securing my Bronco in Chicago and break ins, the roof top tent is my biggest gravitation to a hard top!

BTW, you guys did great on design and I think the price fits the bill!!!

Nothing too crazy, 4 door, soft top, eruption green. This was actually my build week and I was hoping to have it some time in march but now who knows with the plant shutdown and chip shortage.

Gotcha, well if you see a 4 dr, soft top, CG, squatch riding around with a silver lab in the back seat, good chance it's me!

with all these questions about shipping... I'm wondering if the sales plan for these tops is direct-to-consumer, or if they will be offered through dealers for that same price. According to the dealer locator on the @ADV Fiberglass website, there are several near me. Can I just buy it through them and avoid the shipping issues altogether?

All dealers will pass along the shipping costs to the consumer.

The ADV tops have not even been built yet. The images are all CGI.

The options pricing will be released on 2/28. They are not expensive so it is nothing to worry about. As for shipping, you are more than welcome to speak with your local dealership and gather orders to be shipped together to save on shipping. We have taken shipping costs into account while engineering our top to make sure they are as affordable as possible. However please keep in mind that the freight industry has seen very high increases over the last 18 months.

Why do you keep doing this silly marketing strategy of making people wait weeks for information? You seem to already know the prices, since you say they're not expensive, so why not be upfront about it?

You're not gaining anything from this, just pissing people off with how poor you handle this, with so many teasers and target dates for information.

I told them this on week #2. They didn't care, said they thought it was the best way for their business.

You are correct. Based on their track record on previous non-Bronco related products I am more optimistic that they will produce a winning product vs fords version 2 or 3 or 4.
The ADV hoods posted in the last couple days give me more reason to be optimistic.
It has been a long haul (very long) and time will tell. I still need to be scheduled and receive a bronco or having a good hard top solution won't help me much.

Well that busted my bubble...
Just checked on the shipping costs for the $1000 Ram Air Hood and that was over $400 with no option of picking up at one of their dealers - Can't imagine how much more for the tops.
