I've been reading that alot have been running 91 or 93 not 87.. what is everyone planning on using on here when they receive theirs? I'm just wondering if running that high grade right away have been the reason the 2.7s have been messing up? Don't quote me on it I'm just rambling lol
Ill run 93 primarily, as Ford recommends 91 or higher. I dont think the fuel octane is related to the valve failures.

And after all that trouble… Oh well, I’ll try again later.

Make sure you are going into search, and search your vin.

How much is gas where you live? Round here it's $3.15-$3.25 a gallon.
I think yesterday I paid just over 4$ For 93 - I feel like this location was higher than normal but my previous vehicle took 87 so I haven’t paid attention to 93 prices since I sold my Rx8 last year. My hubs puts 93 in the Stinger, but I almost never drive it nor put gas in it.

For those of us lucky enough to have had a delivery, has anybody played much with a apple car play?

I got my wireless car play set up easy enough....what I'm trying to figure out is NOT having whatever is on my phone always come through the system.

For example, if I'm listening Sirius/XM and say, for example, pull up a quick YouTube video on my phone (never while driving....of COURSE).....I don't really want that video to override whatever I'm listening to on the radio...

Not sure how to configure this.....
I love CarPlay, but this has always been my biggest gripe with it. Just scrolling through my Facebook feed (while safely parked, of course!) would trigger CarPlay to take over the audio (even before I got the Bronco). I've taken to playing Sirius/XM solely from their CarPlay app. It's much less finicky that way AND it saves me from having to pay for it in two vehicles!

Can you clarify what you mean by playing Sirius/XM ā€œfrom their Carplay appā€?

I've noticed every one else in purgatory has had their EDD pushed back at least once. Mine has somehow not changed. Is it safer to think that my tracker is completely busted or does anyone think I have any chance of actually seeing my bronco around my EDD of 2/14.

12/23: Showed in production
1/8: Blend date on window sticker
1/10: Dealer said "in transit" (whatever that means)
1/11: In production date showed up on tracker (nothing has changed since)
No built date
No ship date
No emails
Let's see what happens on 2/12. I am pulling for you, tho!

I have not received that yet. My blend date was 1/6/22. I have been pushed back twice, once to 2/10 and the second to 2/20. Just trying to get my mind right once I receive "Built Confirmation" . Thanks for the reply!
I think that there isn’t a GOOD answeršŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø I have NO clue what my girl is doing without me but I was a 1/5 Blend and shipping has been moved three times while I remain in production status. It’s all Over the board with how long you will get yours after that-some have been early some keep getting moved. Hope it’s quick for you!

I’m averaging 16.9 MPGs with 93 octane and 904 miles so far. Running like a champ.

I’m hunting rattles because it drives me nuts with B&O and driving around bumpy stuff. Found an annoying rattle underneath the rear seat with some wire/plug connectors. I wrapped in a little dynamat and much better. Need to de-rattle the plastic in the rear cargo area in a similar manner.

Plan to self adjust my windows so they open smoother this weekend. The off-rodeo Bronco’s opened much smoother than mine. I asked the guides but they didn’t ā€œknowā€ anything about that stuff.

IDK! I feel like I was pretty basic with my build. I am starting to wonder if it's the storage drawer in the back that I added??? Guess I'll just have to be patient. Thanks again!

I’m pretty sure the manual says 87 or higher.
Yes it does, 87 is perfectly fine. You get 410 vs 415 ft-lb of torque but I'm pretty sure you won't notice the loss of 5 ft-lb.

What brand of oil are ya'll using, come on 1,000 pages!!

I'm cheap and I've never ran anything over 87 in car or truck I've ever owned in 30 years of driving, and I don't plan on starting today. Now if 93 was a buck fifty a gallon sure. I just realized my wife and kids are getting old after I typed that I've been driving 30 years.

I'm not a customer but based on his post and the recent advertising I've seen when watching the NFL Playoffs which suggests they have an app you can download and use to stream their content, I'd take a look at the App Store.

Ha! Driving 30 years. Yesterday I had a patient ask me how long I’ve been married. And I stopped and thought and said oh yea, 30 years this month šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø! So I’ve been driving 38 years šŸ˜‚
