Just the dealer supplied Ford Surface Care 3 year coating w/warranty. I dont think they do the soft top. Im going to get something to do that though.

Your mention of Ford Protect SurfaceCare is the 1st I've heard of it. Looks like a good package, but our dealer didn't offer it. "Tree sap, bird droppings, insects" R Us.

It was 399 I think? I forget - it is likely no comparison to normal ceramic coating.. it was their one standard add-on for all new vehicles that made it “over MSRP” but I was completely okay with it given it seems reasonable enough and a minor expense overall.

Edit to add - it took him about an hour overall and my understanding is it is a spray on - but it’s a Ford thing that they warranty, so It cant be too off-the shelf like a spray on wax, lol.

I'm evaluating several first hand recommendations from people I trust and several replies from a Yelp inquiry. It seems the best guys want to see the truck first hand and make sure we're on the same page--touchy subject. (We just got bumped again into 3 more days of Rail Yard Limbo.) One shop/guy I'm leaning toward wants to keep Steamboat for 2-3 days to cure the coating under ?UV light.

The Ford Protect interior treatment sounds good. Can probably just invest in a can of Scotchgard.

As I am very happy you received your bronco.. here I sit extremely confused on how you were able to get yours well before me, even though you are after me as far as blend date goes... im extremely frustrated with the way ford is handling the deliveries, not just for me but for all that are suffering the same fate. Answers and updates is all I want lol.

I’m terribly sorry, I know it’s not fair. I still haven’t received mine that is more of a I took a picture from behind the zoo fence. It’s still going to make it the last 60 miles to the dealer

I would probably buy that ceramic coating for that price. My guy quoted me 3500… I think the guy thinks I am plum stupid

Our bids are coming in @ ~$1300. At least one of the places also does vinyl and I'm thinking I can have them do the letters on the grille while Steamboat is sunbathing.
