If I get pushed to MY23 I likely go back to dual Mod tops for $3k less than this.
I'd be a buyer at sub $4k delivered.
This is one reason why the MOD top won’t be $3,000 as originally featured in B&P. More like $7,000 is what I’ve been hearing.I will say this- my best friend sells resin to companies around the US. He told me two weeks ago that because of the short supply, they are charging 2-3 times more for the product and they are struggling to keep companies supplied. The components to make fiberglass are more expensive now and so will any product made from it.
I’m not defending or trashing their price. It’s in line with what a MIC top would cost you right now if you tried to buy one. Is it much nicer? We don’t know yet. It looks really nice in the drawings. But I want to see real world what it looks like. With all the MIC top issues, it would be nice to have other viable options until Ford figures out how to make them themselves.
