Guys I need help. This is my first Ford Easy Fuel system, and I could not get gas at the gas station I go to almost exclusively, down the street from my house.

The nozzle has a coil thing around the top half that would not fit into the hole, therefore not going deep enough to pump gas. I felt like an idiot! Am I missing something? Are there different style nozzles and this is just the one type that doesn’t work?!

Did you try a different pump? When I had my focus at I had the same issue the first time I went to fill up. I took it to my nearest dealer thinking there was an issue. They just said try a different pump which I did and it did work. Alternately if that is the closest station you could pull out the little adapter that’s hound have come with your car- like a little cone if I remember correctly and see if that works. Usually I think that would be like if you were using a little gas tank to fill your car though

I didn’t try a different pump over there but I will next time. I did look as I drove by them to leave, and they were all the same style.

Glad it’s not just me though, lol.

Ill try somewhere else in a little while, but If I can’t get that one to work Im going to really feel like a dumbass, Lol. Been pumping gas for 20 years and suddenly can’t figure it out, lol!

My guess is that it needs a part to complete and is sitting in that infamous lot until the part arrives then completed. I understand the assembly line just in time inventory system, but I dont like when they cant just STOP production to get caught back up. This is way beyond my knowledge level, so I have no insight or advise other than I enjoy a nice cold Tito's and Cranberry from time to time.

I love a good Tito’s and cranberry! According to CS (well one of the reps) and my dealer, I am built and not awaiting a part which is why the frustration is amping up.

But, yes, different pump, and there is a little funnel thingy that comes with the Bronco.

My date was moved back to 2/20 also. It seems the date for some people is when their Broncos will arrive at the dealer and for others like myself it's when they (hopefully) will ship. It's odd that multiple people in different parts of the country are assigned the same 2/20 EDD.

Of course, the dates don't mean anything if they keep moving back without anything happening.
