Yeah... now knowing it *is* Gearshade and not their own brand, I've got some consideration before overpaying. Still a "maybe" because I'm a sucker for pretty things 😂
Thanks for the heads-up though! Was it listed somewhere that I missed?
Gearshade label is in one of Bad Bronco's pics.

Ah. I see. I was apparently too excited to pay attention to that. 😂

Also I am now almost definitely buying it, because I am a sucker.

My train is taking a siesta in Birmingham. Last update was arrival there on the 4th at 11pm. The way I see it, it was ahead of schedule, anyway.

My dealer is down to only 2 vehicles pending pick up from the rail yard, so it may end up being perfect timing for a quick pick up by convoy.

Sitting at railyards is fun.
I will say that the status updates are usually delayed.

I picked up my Bronco yesterday… I didn’t get the best photos since it was freezing outside but very happy with the truck overall. Love the green with the steelies. I was worried about the quality of the radio from others complaints but I was pleasantly surprised with the sound and with how quiet the cabin was with the wind noise. I was expecting worse based on some other comments but the hard top with the deadening headliner does a pretty good job of keeping the wind noise out. Heated seats and cabin warmed it right up quickly so I am happy with that. Only thing I am bummed about is that the heated steering wheel wasn’t an option on the black diamond trim. I am going to miss that from my old car but overall so happy with the bronco

Find the bad bronco image and have Gearshade put it on as a custom image. It doesn't rub me right that they are selling that way more than Gearshade, using their product.

I will definitely be getting a Gearshade before summer!

Congratulations!!

My high package outerbanks has the standard sound system and while it has no base - it's very crisp/clear and sounds nice. I am no audiophile but the way people explained it I was picturing like a crackly old base system from the 90s that distorts as soon as it starts getting loud. I didn't have it loud loud yet, but I haven't heard a smidge of distortion. The "horrible sound system" was definitely overplayed. I may upgrade the speakers at some point because it's a cheap upgrade but It is very low on the priority list.

So I drove all over Raleigh yesterday with my best friend going to various places and doing some nice varied driving from curvy back roads, to highway, to city, etc. Great break in day for the Bronco. I love this thing more and more each time I drive it. I am completely smitten.

I had test driven two previously, and even after shorter drives in mine - I still didn't get as complete a feel of it's driving style until yesterday after putting on almost 200 varied miles on it over a few hours. The 2.7 & 10 speed are just flawless together. It is so smooth and effortless. I am being quite conservative with throttle input during break-in and it still has no issues accelerating. My friend even commented as I passed someone on a two lane on-ramp that was merging into one lane, that even with very mild throttle input - going UP a hill, with hardly any RPM change, it just moves so effortlessly. She was actually surprised (and she is not a gear-head like myself). The way it handles/drive is absolutely perfect.

My friend gets car-sick very easily. My van never bothered her but unfortunately the Stingers do (her husband has one as well). If she is in the front seat in most cars she is fine but even in the Stinger, something about the luxury-sport suspension just hits her hard. The Bronco didn't bother her. One of Raleigh's bumpy crappy highways, when it was windy, started to make her feel it slightly (if we were on it long term it may have bothered her eventually) but the rest of the day was perfectly fine. So If you have family that gets car-sick it doesn't seem to be a trigger too terribly. I also notice the rear seats seem to sit higher than other cars which would probably help rear seat passengers as well. I remember a post on here some time last year where someone was complaining the soft top triggered their or their spouse's motion sickness.

The soft top has that slight wind drone but I am totally okay with it. Honestly as a mom with kids I think it's perfect. It has even made my older kid pass out! it's like a soft white noise for them. They keep falling asleep in it! The bronco is the best! Hahaha

That is a gorgeous Bronco- congratulations!!

One thing though (and I’m hoping it’s just the light); in the first picture, please tell me the turn signals are both the same color. I wouldn’t put anything past Ford to miss something at this point.

great report! I drove about 120 miles yesterday, agree 100% on the 2.7!

I almost came down close to Raleigh for the basketball game in chapel hill but a last min ticket fell through,

Wouldn't that have been funny to pass each other out there!

Pulling into my friend's neighborhood I had my first excited passerby. He was waiting for me to turn into her neighborhood so he could turn out. When he saw the Bronco he went from surprised face, to excited face, to an excited wave. I figured he had never seen one in person and could even be a res holder based on his facial expressions, that I had to wave back. Sometimes it weirds me out waving back at men, sorry guys, but I know it was all the B LOL. My daughter said a teenager pointed at it in a parking lot earlier in the day too, so It seems to be drawing some attention, lol.
