Mine wasn't until July 2021, so I'm thinking I'm out of luck.

Hey, I noticed you took delivery at Tallahassee Ford! I'm having a hard time understanding how you took delivery of a bronco our exact build with a July 21 reservation when we reserved in Aug 2020 and are still waiting, and in fact, have been pushed to May.
All I've heard this whole time is "allocations and part availability". This does not add up!!

I'm sorry to hear about what's going on with your build! That is so frustrating and super hard not having any answers.

Can they give you the rail car #? Thats where i got mine, the CS had to look for it, it's not just right at their finger tips.

I have my railcar info. Currently the bronco stopped 30 min from me, was put on a truck, but instead of going to my dealer it went on another train and is in Delaware as of this morning.
I’ve been talking to the sales manager all morning and he seems very reluctant to help and wants to wait til the new delivery window of 2/12 to do anything. But the rail CS said the car is there and set to be released to a DE ford dealer today.

I’m not sure what I can even do from here

Sad report today, folks. As of this morning my car is in Delaware. I called Norfolk Southern CS and they confirmed it is in fact there and is set to go to a ford dealer there, not my Pittsburgh dealer. I called my dealer and spoke to the manager and it he hasn’t tracked it since 1/29.
the Norfolk rep said that if they need to put it on another train it needs to happen this morning but my dealer seems less than motivated to do anything before Monday.

I’m frustrated and sad.

So they are sending your car, with your VIN to a different dealer????

That is the way it sounds from my conversations with Norfolk southern CS. My dealer is “looking into it” but honestly I feel like he’s brushing me off. Last time we spoke he was having trouble connecting with NF but when I called as soon as we got off of the phone, it went right through.
he started to mention maybe my email address is wrong but that has nothing to do with the rail car so I don’t know what he is looking at/for.
I’m not even sure what I can do from here.

Can you find out what dealer in Delaware it is going to? I am in DE, and if it is heading to my dealership, I would be happy to give you my sales manager’s info and you can call him directly since your dealer doesn’t seem to want to do anything. He is awesome and may be able to come up with a plan to get your baby to you. I know he is working today too.

Excuse my language but if ducking hate dealerships like this. They seem to be more of the norm lately.

I am sure they just want to keep your bronco to sell it for profit

Mine was suppose to convoy also. They stock it on a rail because of CDL shortages (per ford CS). My WS still also says it’s moving convoy.

I’m bummed because my sales guy had been so great but he left and I was passed off to a new guy and the sales manager doesn’t seem to care. He said “he isn’t ford so it’s going to be tough for him to get answers” if you are not ford, who tf am I buying this car from?

Assuming you're at the same dealership? Best guess our order date was 10/18 versus your 10/21? Which shows how much reservations matter.....
