So I"m on the phone with Geico now getting my insurance policy set up.....apparently they have a 7 year 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty with my coverage for an additional $140 a year....

That seems like a good deal? Better than the ford flood esp plan....

Nothing special on windshield glass but only a $50 deductible
I won’t purchase third party warrantees because they are a hassle. If you have a repair and take it to the ford dealer you typically need to wait for an independent adjuster to show up and inspect and approve the repairs. This can delay the repair for days until the work gets approved. I have no experience with Geico backed warranties specifically but I’m sure the process is the same.

Day 17 in rail yard limbo has come to a close with no movement. Hopefully next week will see some movement on the Bronco front.

Day 2 of the ice storm and still no power, 30% of Memphis is without power. It was a cold night to go without power sleeping in a 48° house. Tonight I have relocated to my office which thankfully still has power. I've got a few cold brews and a roast in the oven, so I am all good!
Oh man this gives me flash backs to last year where we lost power in San Antonio for days in the winter storm. I’m glad you have somewhere with power to stay warm!

Me too, it was a chilly night and I don't mind the cold. The thermostat stays at 62 in the winter.

Saw another Bronco in the wild today. I honked and waved.

I couldn't help it. I might have a problem.

Can't wait to see some fellow First Batchers out there. Especially you people on Ice Mountain.
As a biker and a Jeep driver living in Florida, I can’t wait to get into a vehicle that doesn’t “require” a wave. I’ll stop and talk with you for hours, but I will not wave to passing Broncos.

Does this group have a preference of wav

So what do you all think of this? This is just a trial run. I think it turned out great, and it will protect the area. Let me know what you think. I thought if there was enough interest I might outsource these.

I’d get a set!

Been waving at other Broncos since I got my first in 1984, yes, I will continue to wave.

After having a few days of decent weather to finally take a good look at the Bronco, things seem pretty good.

All body gaps are fine, no issues there, everything works as it should, paint is all good, so I'm pretty happy with fit and finish so far.

The three 6mm (I believe) bolts in the fuse box were slightly loose, I got about one flat on them. There was one other small bolt on the positive battery terminal that was ever so slightly loose as well. I checked everything that I had easy access to under the hood and no other issues were noticed.

No issues with coolant hose routing and nothing else jumped out at me. I crawled around underneath and all looked good there too.

My firewall grommet for the passthrough into the foot well is missing, leaving a large hole in the firewall right into the interior. I'm trying to find a good on-line source for Ford parts diagrams to locate it so I have the P/N when I swing by the dealer next week but no luck so far.

That’s something I definitely need to look into on this. Good point.

I’ll be ordering a final run of the first batch patches early next week. If you’re interested please PM by Sunday evening. They’re $10 shipped.

Approximately 4” across with a Velcro backing that sticks to the headliner or Capet on the back of the seats.

You have to PM me if you’re interested. This thread moves too fast for me to keep up here.
