I bought a pint of Nason XL Race Red basecoat, sprayed with my mini jamb gun. Used Tamco 4100 clearcoat on it.

Taking a break for the rest of today, need to do some thinking on the wooden floor and how best to make/ attach it. This will make the dogs happy for the time being.

I'm thinking a piece of plywood to cover the whole area and a piano hinge to allow it to fold back over on itself for access to the stowage compartment. Like others here have done. Then carpet the whole thing to give the dogs some traction.

I ended up just pulling the seat belt receivers off the seats and plugging them back in and stuffing them under the rubber mat (to clear the airbag light). My resistance measurements with the seat belts buckled was a bit inconclusive. I expected it to go to 0 ohms but it was still around 12K buckled or unbuckled and I didn't want to jumper it out and blow up the airbag module.
