The latest update is that they've now requested ANOTHER specialist to assist the Ford specialist, shop foreman, dealership tech and that they're running tests on the "networking tool."

I don't even know where to start with that. My notes from yesterday that I forgot at the office say it could be an issue with the FDRS software, or it could be that two modules are on the wrong network. Does this make sense to anyone more car savvy than I?

It means it isn’t even at the ramp yet. Mine has been showing inactive for almost two weeks because it is still sitting at MAP.

This whole situation must be infuriating. How does no one at Ford know what is wrong when they designed the car to begin with? I am so sorry.

Designing the car and writing the software for it are about 100 org charts apart. Either there is a programming bug in undocumented, uncommented source code written by a programmer who left a year ago, or someone spilled coffee on the circuit board.

Mine, and many others, never moved from inactive. Unfortunately it seems that some never get actively tracked and others do.. So you'll just have to wait til your dealer says it's otw or arrived at this point. I sat for 12 days waiting for that! Haha

Do you get a message that specifically says "Inactive" or does the page just fail to show any info? Are you sure your dealer is using United?

Yes Kville. Very straightforward, no BS,
straight MSRP. Good communication throughout the ordering and waiting process. Probably the best buying experience for a vehicle i have had.
