Well I finally spoke to the service tech working on my Bronco. The error code coming up from the truck doesn’t match the workshop manual that guides them. It doesn’t match ANYTHING in their manual. So he’s currently in communication with a Vehicle Off-road Specialist at Ford and they’re trying to track down what exactly is wrong with it. They’re “narrowing it down” but still don’t know if it’s a software issue with the 4x4 module or a loose/mis-wired wire, or if the truck is giving them the wrong error altogether and they’re going down an entirely wrong path.

I might cry. (Probably not though) No ETA. Going to eat Mexican and drink a margarita in honor of the Audrey II.

@Cat is the bomb for tagging me in similar threads but he did at least say he doesn’t think it’s a physical mechanical issue at this point. So maybe that’s good news?
I wonder if ours is having the same issue. They told me was the AWD module.
At least it happened before we took delivery.

Yes first picture is driver’s side which is normal. The second picture is the passenger side which is missing plastic that meets the seal.
Got it. Did you notice this at the Dealer's? Are they gonna fix it for you for free?

It's good to gain knowledge and be aware of similiar issues.
Yep, and he gave me the name of the module if anyone is interested to know, but it’s on my notepad at work….🤷🏼‍♀️

I was gonna ask if you’ve heard anything on yours.

I put a new item on the Owners Checklist for Delivery (OCD) to, "ensure all trim pieces above drivers/pax windows are installed".

Thank you @Cat! I try…lol
Quick question…Is there only suppose to be one horse on the front seats? Or should there be 2? One for each seat. Im going to be so mad if i missed this after going over it with a fine tooth comb!! Only one seat has the bucking horse/bronco.
I've got one one each front seat, never paid any attention to the back seat.

Dealer not replying to my emails. Not a good sign
I have the phone to Ford customer service somewhere if you want it. They’ll call your dealer and just basically open a case and check in with you. I called mine. Repeatedly. Lol.

I'll be there, I'll have my First Batch Shirt on, if you see me holler. Wish I had an extra driver to bring the 22 and the 73 up this this year. I think we are driving up Friday and spending the day.
I will driving the WT and my son will either be on my 89 or his 71. He has a 2dr BADLANDS March build,we hope it will be here. We are making it a family vacation, Dollywood.

Well guys, she is finally home. Things got a little dicey at the dealer. My salesperson was wonderful and would recommend wholeheartedly. However the “closer” finance guy not so much. Insisted I was paying for a bogus 300 insurance policy on my remotes, and then acted like he didn’t know anything about the price protection and actually said to me, “who cares it’s only 250 dollars?!?”. I’ll be polite and leave it at that. Suffice it today I ended up paying MSRP without any add on fees. She seems perfect so far, but to be honest I drove her like 7 miles and now I still have like 3 hours of work. My daughter got one pic, not the best but it’s already dark. I will say the proportions/ stance of this vehicle in person, particularly with the Sasquatch package are almost cartoonish, and I mean that in a good way. The proportions are perfect.
I honestly hope everyone gets their bronco soon, particularly our purgatory peeps. It so tough waiting in the dark without any info. All the best to you guys and thanks for all the info and laughs.

My response to those types of remarks is always, “ oh, well… I’m glad you see it’s only $250 I guess that means you’re ok with covering it for me”. Their story usually changes when I suggest they cover it since it’s just…”
