I was 2/9 EDD and was told on the 800 number no chip hold this morning. My EDD just moved to 5/9 so WTF. Literally no one at Ford knows what they are doing. I texted my dealer so we will see what happens…

Also I got a regular Base 4 door soft top with absolutely no added options so no one is safe

I asked Ford rep about my EDD and they said at this point it’s a date when they are expecting a status change to the order, not necessarily a delivery. Not sure the accuracy in that tbh

Question regarding the 800 help number. Do they ask for a name? I took over a customers order that no longer wanted it so I didn't place the original order. I do have the VIN, order number, window sticker. Oya...and what's the number

(800) 334-4375. Ask to speak to a representative, DO NOT say it's for a Bronco because they'll put you on a long wait.

I called and mentioned Bronco reservation and got someone in less than a minute on the Bronco reservation team. She told me I have an ETA of Feb 26 and does not see any delays with regards to chips…but they also told me a year ago I’d have my Bronco within 3 months as well

I feel that everyone calling the 800 number is getting a different result this is what my person said who didn't even ask for my VIN because she said all January Broncos are getting pushed. She said "The cars were built and then during the quality control check, they discovered the microchips were bad and can not be used. May is when ford thinks the microchips will be in, it could definitely be longer than May" so we prob aren't getting shit till next year guys!! WOOOO


Edit: Someone on 1/10 or 1/17 thread mentioned I believe last week that some place was producing bad microchips and if that is who ford was buying from we would be fucked, so heres to them for being correct!

Edit 2: Also want to mention that it is not constraints related. I got the cheapest Bronco they sell. Everything standard, base, absolutely no options, 2.3 auto, four door, soft top and it is being help for chip. Dealer confirmed as well.

Well my delivery date on the tracker still says 2/26/2022 so I’m going to stay positive until I get the official word.
