I had intended to go to that event as well, but looks like this delay will kill those plans

I have until 2/20 to cancel for a full refund,,, still showing 5/6 for delivery Guess I'll let it ride out for a bit and see if my delivery date reverts back to 2/28,,, as of now, still 5/6.

Just checked mine this morning. Bumped to 5/2 EDD. Yesterday at 5 stopped by dealer to see what it was on hold for and it was built, just being held. No notes on reason why

What the crap?!?

Yea - mine went from 4/29 back to 2/10.

So Two questions if I may-

A question about the people getting emailed about being on hold for microchips - are ya'll getting the emails directly from Ford or are your Dealerships/Salespeople sending you them?

The reason I ask is because my Salesperson seems to be useless ... My Dealer supposedly isn't going to mark me up so we're trying not to be too bothersome but the Salesperson is basically useless and I am wondering if he has received info and doesn't want to tell us or what. I am still showing In Production, Estimated Delivery 2/15 but has never updated to Built.

Second question- my Window Sticker appears to have changed the bottom date for the 3rd time at this Midnight ... first was 1/18, then changed to 1/25, and now after midnight changed to 2/2 ... I believe I read on here that this is normal and changes each week, just wondering if that's true and if/what it means anything.

In my case, I've not gotten a single email from Ford pertaining to any updates aside from the acknowledgement email when I placed a reservation and, later, an order. My best source of information throughout this whole ordeal has been my salesperson (also a longtime friend of mine). He checks the status of my Bronco every day and was the one who alerted me to the 'Micro chip at plant on hold' message on the status, which he says is the only piece of information on the tracking report that's manually entered into the system. Dealers are just as much in the dark as we are regarding detailed information.

Your salesperson should be able to track your Bronco on their system. Mine provided me with a tracking list showing 11 lines of information from 'In Order Processing' to 'In Transit'. I had ordered the paint protection film and the tracking report showed where it had left the plant, went to the upfitter for the film application, then back to the plant at Ramp 4G. That's where it's been since Jan 19th. The information is easily obtained through your salesperson, just ask them for it.

The date has changed several times on my window sticker as well, but from what I understand, it's normal and doesn't mean anything significant.

I think the dates moving back to Feb is just false hope. Mine changed back to 02/07 on the tracker, but my friend at the dealership just texted me the latest info showing on their tracker and it's still showing May 8th and the 'Micro chip at plant on hold' message is still there.

*Edit: My salesman friend revealed to me that, when Ford parked all the Super Duty trucks at Kentucky Speedway last year, they put a ridiculously high date on those as well, but in actuality they were released much sooner. So, take our May estimate with a grain of salt...

Agree, I'm going to wait it out as well. According to my dealer, ridiculously high delivery date estimates are not unprecedented for Ford (happened to the Super Duty's too), so there may still be hope that this is resolved much sooner than May.

Man I hate this for you guys that are getting bumped. Ford has a patent on the process for draining excitement out of future Bronco holders.

For those that have had their Bronco's built and and your EDD hasn't changed from what it originally was, it looks like, for me anyway, that the pizza tracker is more accurate. It updated to "delivered" yesterday and now has the check mark in the "shipped" bubble. The backdoor link on mine still shows an EDD of 1/28-2/3.

Look, the tracker has already been deemed totally useless. It says shipped but it's not. It says in production, but it's shipped. It says built, but it was delivered a week ago. It's 100% useless. So....why does it matter it it says it will be delivered in May or February or anything. If it magically changed to 2/2, you would not count on it.

I would just stop checking the tracker since it has no benefit. That's what I did....
