What happens if the last group of people in purgatory are all moved from in production to built on the same day? Should there be a tie-breaker or everyone splits the prize?
Oh.. I thought we were just basing it off of "person whose Bronco shows up at the dealership and is available for pickup last". Seems like that would simplify things.

Just wanted to make a clarifying post on the contest parameters:

Initially I had posted a "final delivery" award, but as Cat pointed out, that introduces a lot of variables in terms of shipping time due to geographic location, etc. That also brings in the possibility of someone's Bronco being delivered to the rail yard, but due to size of the rail yard, or lack of driver's in their area, they could be waiting weeks for the Bronco to be offloaded to the dealership. I also realize that there will be a subset of people unfortunately stuck in the "built" status for a bit before actually shipping. The only problem with that is we have seen surprise deliveries from the built status. The most consistent data point we have, just by virtue of Ford's tracker being a POS, is moving from production to built status.

So just to confirm, the parameter to win the contest is the last person to exit "purgatory" which is defined as moving from "In Production" to "Built" status. I hope this doesn't cause too much annoyance or grumbling due to changing it a bit, but I think this is the most fair parameter to go by.
I also think there have been some occurrences where folks got surprised by their Dealers, or have gotten rail car info without the, In Production, status changing to, Built.

Just let us know once you think you are really out of the, In Production, status.

Thats what I thought too. Especially since trackers are not consistent.

Still stuck on built as of 1/12/22.

No movement on any of the trackers.

Ford.com still says estimated delivery 1/24 to 1/30. Pizza tracker said 1/30 as of this morning before it stopped loading.

We all want our Broncos. Would you rather be the person who knows their Bronco is built, shipped and/or waiting to be trucked to your dealer, or, be the person who has no status of any kind?

This was my initial thought. From what I've seen the pizza tracker is pretty consistent in updating to a built status, but anything after that is when it gets murky. I can think on it more, but if anyone wouldn't want to participate if the "built" parameter sticks, I can send funds back.

Either way, this isn't an award anyone should be hoping to win, I'd think. 😆

Window sticker is back.

No shipping notifications. Still stuck on Built status with ford.com saying 1/24 to 1/30 delivery estimate.
Congrats! Based on this post, you are out of Purgatory!

Exactly. The trackers may all update on the same day, but some poor sucker is still going to be the last person to be able to bring their Bronco home.

Nah, I'm in for however the group decides to allocate the dubiously-named "winner".
I would just feel weird about it if said "winner" was the last with a tracker update, but a Bronco in their driveway before someone else whose tracker may have changed but whose Bronco still isn't even at their dealership.

If that were to happen, they'd automatically be taken out of the running. Anyone who receives a built status or their Bronco has been surprise delivered is out. I can put together a poll and post it here and get everyone's thoughts.

It’s here! Nothing updated so I had no idea it arrived this morning. I’ll get to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Gotcha. I may have just misunderstood some of the conversation around it then. I know we're all on the same page as far as making sure it's truly the last Bronco owner who gets the "Biggest Loser Prize"

Love these! Let's all do a lil "Show and Tell" of things that we have purchased for the Broncos we don't have yet!!

I definitely have several things sitting around my garage waiting lol. Off the top of my head: hood struts, soft top lift assist struts, stubby antenna, Stickerfab goodies, a Bad Bronco emblem, a center console organizer, and some fabric grab handles that are preordered byt not shipped.
Stuff I ordered that has been delivered:
Redline Hood Struts
KC Hilites Flex Era 4 pod lights
Baja Designs Fog Pocket Kit
JCR Offroad Pre-runner Hoop
Stickerfab items

Waiting on:
IAG EZ-lift for the soft top
Antenna delete

I think I'm going to hold off on ordering anything else until my Bronco arrives since I'm running out of room 😅

I'll probably order the tailgate table from JCR Offroad and the Gearshade after the Bronco gets here.

Okay, here's a google form to gather opinions on the parameters of the contest.

https://forms.gle/LnsrLnRm2cN2Fm7X7

As of now we're sticking with Built status on removing you from the running, along with a surprise delivery. I'd also say your dealer notifying you it's shipped would remove you, but that can get iffy considering "my dealer said." So maybe a rail car # or other confirmed evidence of shipment would be best to knock someone out of the running if all they have is their dealer's word.
