DELIVERY CHECKLIST (OCD Version) for Expectant Bronco Owners

Might be a one-off, but check your glass is not scratched by transport. I did not see this on the showroom floor at night when I picked up, super obvious next day. Mine was bad in 3 places on driver side (sorry for lousy pic but camera wouldn't focus on it, these are tons of small scratches not just a dirty spot I promise!). Dealer is looking to either polish out or replace the glass.

This has occurred multiple times now. I added "check for transport damage to windows, winshield and paint".

Another thanks from me Kat. I used your list when inspecting my Bronco on Thursday.

Found some dimples in the hard top, and the top panel of the clamshell is misaligned.

Also the filler panel around the tailight was misaligned.

It seems some people are brining the OCD to the dealer and doing the checks themselves, some are sending the list to the dealer ahead of time. Which do you think is better?

Do both. Sending it ahead of time sometimes gets the OCD incorporated into the Dealers PDI.

At the least, they know you are coming armed with knowlege and requirements.

The other good thing about the OCD is it arms you with topics like, Extended Service Plans (get your quote from Flood, first), Ford Rewards, Cust Satisfaction funds, etc. This serves to keep YOU focused on the bottom line, while your sales guy charms away at distractions..

Thanks for noticing! I was on my New Moon Retreat--from just about everything inc. social media. I didn't look at FB or Forum or trackers, and the automatic trucker tracker checkers were mum.

No new cases of EHV that I've heard, so hopefully we can take our horses out tom'w (Wed) 10 a.m.

Just picked up my Bronco last night. Thanks for the list! The emergency brake lever fell off/broke and the dealer already ordered a replacement.
