I wasn't being sarcastic, but that's an emotional rollercoaster of a story. Glad it's getting a new chapter
There would be one less brother in my family.
It’s unfortunately my dad’s fault. He knew this is the one that would take $$ over sentimental things, but it was intended to be his vehicle in the end so my dad caved and gave it to him. He didn’t even have to guts to tell my father. My dad was crushed, but it cannot be undone.

He did give me the original Script logos from that Bronco the other day. Can’t wait to take him for a spin in this one

Mine is off today, but I figure I'll give it a couple more days before harassing him. 😂
I'd love a surprise delivery! I made a United Road account, though, so every delivery my dealership takes, I see in an email notification. I figure either way, I should find something out before the end of the week. Just trying (and failing) to be patient.
The United Road account is the bomb! 10 Broncos waiting shipment to my dealer, only one 2 door, MINE!

Congrats, It’s unfortunately “a bomb” for me, no info on my VIN.

My Bronco aka Bullseye is off the train awaiting transport to the dealer. Feel like a kid on Christmas 🎄 😕

IT'S HERE
IT'S HERE
MY BABY IS HERE!

I called CS to ask if they knew why it's been sitting in Chicago for 9 days. Turns out there's something wrong with some of the CSX trackers. My bb actually left Chicago 1/16 and is currently in the OKC train yard waiting to be sent to my dealership!
They said the train came in last night. 😍😭

For all of y'all who have Broncos stuck just sitting somewhere enroute, there is hope!!
Congratulations !! There is hope--and vicarious pleasure from y'all's labor and delivery stories.

The UP tracker was weird this morning. Said "Loaded/departed/arrive 11:15a" but didn't give a location. Then it said "Estimated delivery to 'industry', 1/28." It's unlikely it came the rest of the way from WY to CA overnight. And is "industry" my dealer? Will shake the Magic 8 ball again and see if message clears.

Ok guys how are you all doing your down payments? I haven't made a brand new car purchase before (my husband has however).. and on top of my trade in we are probably dropping around 20k for the down payment. Should I bring a bank check in or do it digitally? I know my hubs did it digitally with his Stinger but had to call the bank while there so they would approve the transaction and not decline it as fraud. Is one way better than the other?

I know Im getting close and getting overwhelmed with the little stuff now, LOL.

I put as little down as possible because money is cheap right now.

I think last time I bought a car I did a check. It was used and not nearly as expensive though, haha. This will be my first brand new purchase. I'll probably put around 10K down, myself.

Exactly the same boat as me. I haven't dropped as much cash as we intend to on this one. When we bought the Stinger we had an 18k trade and added like 8k on top of it and he just paid with his card or something but I feel weird going there empty handed, so trying to get prepared ahead of time.

We want to put a big chunk down to minimize monthly payments. I get the money is cheap part and it's definitely a balance but it seems redundant to then have a 700-1000$ monthly payment. That's a daunting bill to pay, lol.

I think it depends on who is doing your financing.
If it is at the dealership, start off with no down payment unless they bring down the APR.
Usually they will lower the APR as you put more down, but you should use that as a way of getting the APR Down. A personal check is all you need to do. Well, you should have funds in the account as well, but that is all nothing special.

If you are doing your own financing through like a Credit Union, they will give you blank check purchase it with and then you can work out the details of your down payment with them.

If you can get a good APR with minimal down, keep your money and use what you would have put down to add to your payment and reduce your overall length of your contract.
