So this does seem logical. So is it safe to say I will get no further updates when a truck picks it up?I am 99.9999% sure that means your bronco has been unloaded from the rail car and ready to put on truck to dealership.
Logically speaking after the vehicle is unloaded it should follow the same route in reverse. This morning I believe my suspicion was confirmed.

Empty - Has had waybill data reported – Jan 19 12:55PM
Yesterday I talked to my dealer and he said it's ready to be loaded on truck to dealership - he is working with rail yard and United Road to schedule and are shooting for today but couldn't guarantee.
Now the rail car is returning using the same transport path in reverse

imo the keywords are "empty" which means exactly what you think - its empty so bronco was unloaded, and "waybill" which again is what you think - the shipping document from rail yard that will be given to truck driver telling where to deliver.
i would reach out to your dealer asap to call rail yard.
I am not confident mine will be delivered today mostly because my dealer didn't sound confident yesterday and my EDD changed from 1/26 to 1/29 this morning.
Also want to add based on other threads and talking to my dealer it sounds like the time it takes from offloaded from railcar -> loaded on truck depends on "who the dealer knows at the rail yard" and "how may favors they are owed". Basically its complete a shit show - if there's a process its definitely not being followed ie first in first out . No data to substantiate - just a guess.
