Random Radio Turn On

Hey All our bronco is doing something very funny, the radio turns on by itself almost on every journey wiht no rhyme or reason, bug ? Anyone else run into this ?

It has not happened with my bronco; however, it did happen one time while driving a ford crown victoria. Driving home from work at about 3AM with no one else on the freeway. Out of the blue, the radio just spontaneously turned on. Yep pretty weird!

No, coming home directly from work. Had been listening to the radio music for a while and at some point, turned it off for peace and quiet. Suddenly it just turned on. At first I thought all about supernatural, ghosts, science fiction, the movie, “The Exorcist “, TV show, “The Twilight Zone”, etc. That lasted a nano-second until I realized it was just a ford radio! Not exactly German engineering or Swiss craftsmanship!

I get the same thing when I have CarPlay active but nothing playing. Switches to radio everytime after 20 minutes or so.
Super annoying

Can you say train wreck ! Everything about the Bronco Instrument cluster and info tain ment screen is problematic there is a new issue every day that crops up !

I was born in 1966 when the bronco was introduced all these years and they can't even make the brake pedeal not squeek ! No wonder the Japanese took over the US car market !

Mine does this often. Usually turns on AM radio. It seems to have done it less lately since CarPlay is a bit more stable.
