Right? When I saw a BB and OBX in person my concerns about the tires went away pretty quickly. I was expecting the stance to look much worse.

So was I!! I was like hmm, that's not as bad as I thought. Maybe I can live with that for awhile (especially for performance reasons as well).. my husband thinks im nuts for wanting to "waste money" on just upgading tires for looks when these are brand new perfectly good tires...im like well, the obx tires wont be as good for trails either. Even though thats a secondary use It would be nice to do on occasion.

You can try, but probably won't learn anything, tbh. I'm in the same situation, but 1/7 blend. A call to the line didn't tell me anything, unfortunately.

She’s home! My dealer was a pleasure to work with and the process was very smooth. She’s a lot of fun to drive!

Has anyone else noticed a strong burning smell in the first few miles? I checked the coolant hose and all is well, so I assume it’s just new engine smell.

Stupid question…has anyone tried to call the Ford number for an update? Or if anyone has, do they just repeat what the trackers are saying?
I should have been blended on 1/3. Still only have in production on 1/6.

I broke down and called yesterday. The gentleman I spoke with just repeated the information that the tracker shows:
In Production 1/11
No update on built, just in production...
ETD: 2/1 - 2/7
Then proceeded to tell me that they are in production for 20 days (so from 1/11) and that it will be delivered to me by 2/1 - 2/7 (in Houston, Tx).
with those dates, that's physically impossible sir....

So she emailed back today and said sorry my email went to her spam folder. Then said she didn’t know where my bronco was that she’d have to ask mgr to run a report? Can’t they just look on the computer? Person I spoke with last week said they didn’t give info out because they got burned when delivery took too long. AND that there are no rebates in reference to the price protection question I asked. So obviously she doesn’t know what’s going on. I emailed her back and explained the price protection and gave her a link to the faqs.

Oh man, that really sucks. I don’t understand how they wouldn’t be able to see it.. I’d be a bit concerned but that’s just me.

I think surprise ADMs are the worst, if they're at least upfront about them that's one thing – but bringing them out at delivery is another.

And I chose this dealer because I wanted to stay local and they agreed to MSRP when I asked about x-plan at time of reservation conversion. I don't hate my dealer, and to be honest I'm not even sure I can fault him much. The process is not well thought through, there should be a dedicated person or team of people (or software) that manages each reservation/order as an account or client. Right now, it feels like we're afterthoughts.

Bringing out ADM at deliver is just a douche move. Is X plan dealer specific? I agree about a dedicated person, this has been messier than it needed to be.
