Custom vinyl decal advise needed

I’ve sketched up a two tone decal I’m thinking about trying to DIY on my bronco when it comes (silhouette mountain range and sasquatch with mountain bike).

Anyone experienced with vinyl work? I’ve seen some YouTube’s of custom camo jobs that make it look easy. My mountain design is pretty simplistic and I think I could cut it freehand from vinyl, but the Sasquatch gets detailed.

Are there custom decal printing/cutting options? Free hand it and use an at home cricket for the fine cuts? Punt on the idea because it’s going to be way harder than I’m expecting?

Heya! I think that sasquatch graphic might be too big for a Cricut to cut.

Also, when you start layering vinyls you have to contend with a few things: You're going to see the overlap line, which might be fine to you but might not be. If you do this install with two separate pieces of vinyl you absolutely have to overlap that green and black, about 1/8" to 1/4", the reason being that over time with heat and cold vinyl expands and contracts, and no two pieces do that at the same rate, so if you butt-seam those pieces you're eventually going to end up with a gap along the two colors.

If you are cutting these out of stock colored vinyl instead of printed vinyl with air release material with a laminate (like I would print on) you're working with a material that is much more difficult to lay down flat (for a novice at least).

The only rub is getting that sort of neon green in printed vinyl, it usually comes out a bit more subdued than what you can get with a colored roll of material.

Wow great info and generous offer to help! I’m so early in this process and my research that I’m not even sure what to ask next, but I’m grateful to have someone more knowledgeable available. I may get a couple sample rolls to try and get a feels for how hard it is to work with and what the overlap looks like, etc. then go from there
