It’s criminal. I will be replacing the handles and mirror caps with the appropriate painted ones eventually. Can’t fork over the $900 right away but it will be done!I know Wildtrack should not have lost those painted features.

I was in the same boat and called Ford and a very nice lady gave me all the information I needed.Hell will freeze over before my Dealer gives me a Rail Car #. I’ll be in the dark on this part sadly. He’s a great guy but very much has the “It’ll get here when it gets here stance”
Will this have to be a custom job, or can you get these from Ford? It’s criminal. I will be replacing the handles and mirror caps with the appropriate painted ones eventually. Can’t fork over the $900 right away but it will be done!

This is an option but I believe the MIC pieces are textured so it may not look the best. The shops I’ve talked to have said it’s more work (more expensive) to repurpose the existing ones than to buy the replacements and paint them. You could also have the mirror caps just wrapped gloss black?
Ah yeah that's true, good call. This is an option but I believe the MIC pieces are textured so it may not look the best. The shops I’ve talked to have said it’s more work (more expensive) to repurpose the existing ones than to buy the replacements and paint them.
Looks like they are having a sale right now....$600 for handles and mirrors. Temptinghttps://shop.bfntruckshop.com/shop/ols/search?keywords=Bronco&sortOption=descend_by_match
I will install them myself. Doors are easy, but the mirror are a bit tricky.
Ford offers the parts but they are sold as “ready to paint” so your dealer would have to buy them and then paint them. The above link they come painted & ready to install.
I agree and appreciate your sympathy. It pisses me off. When I built an OBX or Badlands with all of the features I want they’re more expensive than the Wildtrak so I stuck with it. Just frustrating to spend more money on top of the price increase To get the look it’s supposed to have.So dumb that you guys have to do that. Like wtf. The OBX comes with paint matched, they should have just followed the same procedure for the highest trim level Bronco. The OBX still has it's signature look with the painted fenders that the WT wouldnt come with anyways with the standard sasquatch package.... like come on. it bothers me and Its not even my trim!
Thanks for the reply. I didn't see that information in any of the threads.Yes, 100% has to be done by a dealership.
