I don’t have a way to install a hard top lift mechanism to my garage roof and I’m also limited in space for the hard top once it’s removed. I’ve been looking at the hard top removal tool from TopLift Pros. Does anyone have experience with using these on a Jeep hard top or has anyone bought one for their bronco yet?

No experience, unfortunately I don't think it will work on my 2 door because of the cross bar

No experience, but will be doing that or the Rollnjack as I have the same limitations. Leaning towards Rollnjack because I have a couple hundred dollars of Amazon gift cards and it's sold on there. Also a bit cheaper than the toplift pro.

I had not heard of Rollnjack so thanks for the info. Currently out of stock so it’s not showing price. Do you remember how much it was? Top lift is usually $1000 but has been on sale for $100 or $200 less.

I would be curious to know what your dimensional limitations are.
Creating your own lift for these is quite simple honestly, and it only needs to lift the top about 2" (yes, two inches) off of the vehicle to be effective.

Hand winch, pulley, some soft straps, and you should be ready to go. Back the bronco into the garage, lift the top slightly, pull away, lower to the ground.

When I finish my mothers I will post some vids/pics for those interested.

I ordered the RollNJack and it works great. J also have a cargo enclosure. I had to cut off the support arms with an angle grinder since they were to long with the enclosure in place. It worked perfectly after cutting off the supports a little shorter.

I bought the top lift pro for my Bronco. Love it and works great. I just pop the clamshell off, roll the whole thing in my garage, and there’s still room to park my Bronco in the garage.

Bronco won't fit in my garage from 1959.

Last I looked it was about $750 plus $40 for the replacement posts you need to work with the Bronco per their recommendation.

Does NOT work with 2 door. Which was NOT made clear on the site back before I purchased a garage sculpture. 😉
I got a response from Top Lift yesterday in response to a 2 Dr request:

Thank you for reaching out.
Unfortunately, the TopLift Pro will not work on the new 2 Door Broncos without a little extra effort.
Our platform is 15” deep, and from our research it appears the 2 Door Bronco is closer to 10”.
This would mean you would have to manually slide your Hardtop back about 5“ in order for the Hardtop Removal Tool to fit and do rest of the work.

We have a solution that is going to work, however , this product is currently in production and will not be available to purchase until early 2022.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Thank you,

Same response I got! It still makes a decent stand for the removed top. 🤷🏼‍♂️

True...you gonna get it?
Oh, I already did. Before I knew it doesn’t work with two door. I would have waited for 2 door solution or a gone a different direction if I knew it was a $899 stand…

Does the lift interfere with the back cross/roll bar, or, can you scoot it back/fwd the 5" to load/unload?
