Ah. Good info to know. Thank you for sharing all of your inside scoops!Interesting on ordering the 2.7. From what I have heard this is not a constraint in terms of production line. The stuff causing delays was other minor items (A few weeks ago they kept running out of half shafts. That caught up then they kept running out of another part last week, then this week was another slow down for something else.. etc) "Little" misc parts or events that cause backlog on occasion. I would imagine this is a pretty normal occurrence as things are ever fluid for production plants, and worse with Covid supply crap.
I can confirm the supply chain issues. I work for a Food Manufacturing company and we are constantly running out of large scale commodities of things like Corn/Rice Syrup, Soybean Oil, Powdered Sugar, Corn Flakes, etc. We’re constantly having to find numerous supplemental suppliers of basically every ingredient we use. A few months ago we even ran out of sugar and had a week delay in replacing it. Our lead times used to be 2-3 weeks and we’re now quoting 8+ for all POs we receive. Crazy times.
