🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Here is a timeline of my build.

• Reserved my Outer Banks Bronco 8/3/2020.
• Went to my Ford dealer on 1/20/2021 and built a Wildtrack instead of an Outer Banks and confirmed the order. I received the email confirmation of the Wildtrack order before I even left the dealership.
• Then I saw on my Ford account that my original Outerbanks reservation from 8/3/2020 was cancelled on 2/3/2021 (dealer does not know why) and I had a 2nd order for the Wildtrack with a new reservation/order number.
• I contacted my dealer about this chaos and his rep told him they were going to manually change the timestamp on my new order number to 8/3/2020. The dealer was told to cancel my 1/20/2021 Wildtrack order and submit a new order and I had to pay another $100 deposit, then the original 8/3/2020 reservation deposit would be refunded, which it has been.
• 8/30/2021 my account shows an 8/14/2021 Wildtrack order and my dealer says the timestamp should be 8/3/2020 on this new order. I asked him to get me a screenshot to verify the 8/3/2020 timestamp is on the new order number and he said he would need to contact the Ford rep. No luck, they cannot produce anything that verifies the original reservation timestamp.
• 10/19/21 My dealer called and said I should change to a soft top to get my order built so we went ahead and did that. Then he changed my priority code to the highest it can be and also set his system to show I was the only Bronco order for his store. It is a small midwest dealership.
• 10/28/21 scheduled to be built the week of December 20, 2021
• 12/11/21 vehicle is now re-scheduled to be built the week of January 3, 2022
• 1/6/22 Bronco shows it is in production on the order tracking page.
• today 1/8/22 - still "in production" and anxiously awaiting its arrival!

Has anyone been successful tracking their Bronco that is traveling by rail?

Not that I have seen, including me. Saying that, the spreadsheet from Page 1 has some details regarding shipping reports if you want to review them

That's a heck of a journey! On the upside, the distance you have traveled massively over shadows the distance you have left.

Yeah. I'm thinking the entire process is a bit slow still - the time from "Sent to Plant" to "Blend" seems like it got a little longer, but "Blend" to "Built" now looks like 5 shifts.

And that's assuming the Blend date is both possessed and correct.

I agree with your stats.
The big issue, as you stated is if people are entering incorrect information into the common spreadsheet. Not intentionally, but not everyone is a tech savvy as you

One of the 'work' questions we ask a lot is "What's the harm if we are wrong?"

In this instance, the harm is that we only have a fuzzy idea of when our Broncos show up.

Or to put it another way, not worth getting worried over.

This is weird (based on what everyone else has been saying)

In production date is 01/06, no built date.

I now have BCM mod data, but tear tag is still DCA (???)

Edit: backdoor says built with ship date.

Curious if anyone has a ManSquatch built yet?

I believe there were some 12/20 ManSquatches

That's my assumption based on our numbers from the window stickers and average productivity per day. There is no way to fit all those numbers in a day, it would take a few days. So based on what I have gathered from this whole experience. It's just going to take a few days. It sounds like Saturday was canceled as well (maybe not for everyone, but sounded like it)... seems like production would resume Monday and then wed have the rest of our builds finished at the start of the week.

Also my backdoor link seems to show me more than yours, but still not complete probably until next week when shipping info starts populating.

Nothing yet for me I am expecting/hoping to see some update by the end of the day since a lot of people from 1/4 saw some updates. One could only hope. Or, if no one is working now today, I guess I may have to sweat this out for a few more days. Between having Covid and this, my poor nerves need some good news
