For those of us who ordered the enter keypad..it looks good painted. This is the way they come now when ordered.

I like it better painted, but the buttons look cheap compared to the old hard-wired version. I'll still never live without it. I'm a runner, so securely leaving my keys in the car is a godsend on long runs!

oh goody. It was already on my list to tell my dealer not to install because it was so out of place looking. I’m thinking about the behind the gas door placement but that looks a lot better.

If you order it after the fact as an accessory I wonder if it comes painted? I don't know much about these, does it mean you can lock the FOB inside the vehicle? (I thought modern vehicles didn't allow for that?)

I have heard that as well but I was told this can be overrided if you update your electronics using Forscan? But I could be wrong

Gotcha...so, if you CANT lock your keys/fob inside the bronco.....what is the point of the keyless entry? Aren't you having to press several numbers on the pad versus your FOB once?

My 2016 explorer allowed the FOB to be locked in with a sequence - I think it was the last two buttons on the right pushed together.

anyone else getting this? when I log into my ford account and go to view orders/reservations, this pops up before I can view my vehicle info:

when I X out of it, it shows that the Bronco is scheduled for production this week, but this pop up to finalize my configuration has me worried that somehow my order no longer exists.

quick backstory - my dealer had no idea what he was doing when it was time to convert to a MY22 order. I followed the email from Ford to do it online, but then he told me he couldn't see it anywhere in the system, and filled out an order for me over the phone. He swore that was the only order, but when the production schedule was announced in December, I got 2 emails from Ford. 2 Broncos, separate VINs, one for 12/20 (now pushed to 1/3) and the other for 1/3. Wondering now if the original online order (which has a $500 deposit) has been canceled and it's just the one order.

So I called the Ford hotline for the heck of it - got through in 2 minutes. This lady asked for my reservation ID and order code - she had nothing to say other than "yay you have a vin number" and it's scheduled for production. No dates.

.... thanks I have had a vin for months.

When I called a week or so ago that lady took my sales code & order code, and she was able to give me a production week/day.

So I am thinking this dictates what they see on their end..

I texted my dealer to see if he has had any status updates.
