2 door towing performance - my experience with Mammoth Overland Trailer

Just got back from a quick camping trip on the Mojave Trail. Figured some 2-door owners might be interested in how the Bronco does towing. (2.7L auto/Sasquatch)

I was super happy! My trailer is a Mammoth Overland Trailer- weighs 2500lbs, we were probably closer to 3000 with the weight we had in it. I averaged 16.7mpg for the trip (180miles) and 150 of that was +70mph on the hwy. Tracks well, plenty of power for passing, and the short wheelbase was great for maneuvering the trailer.

By comparison, my Gen3 Tacoma got about 12mpg when towing and that was with a re-gear.

do you have Factory tow pkg, or did you add hitch? i just had my dealer remove tow pkg from my order in hopes of speeding up.. curious of towing with/without factory package. i assume the constraint on tow package has to do with a microchip for something in the towing setup? (not sure if it has any preset build for trailer brake connections, tow/haul selector in trans, etc..)
Doubt i'll tow that much with mine anyway other than a utility trailer/kayak trailer.
