I couldn't resist asking. Apparently I'm 1/5 if it sticks. I'm in the 12/13 --> 12/20 --> 12/27 --> 1/3 --> 12/27 --> 1/3 group.

As an original 1/3'er (and longtime B6G lurker), I'm curious if anyone knows whether prior build cycles have given priority to those that have been bumped from earlier dates. I would think it is more commodity based, but am not that familiar with the process.

The pattern seems to prioritize those that were in earlier weeks then bumped back.. Whenever a wave gets bumped into a week, a wave of people in that week get bumped back, and so on. Atleast that’s what has seemed to happen. Maybe it’s bumping similar builds as obviously not everyone gets bumped out so there is some interpretation there. Basically, nothing is secure until you are driving it home, lol.

12/22 build day folks in the 12/20 week are starting to flip to "In Production" in the build tracker. I'm hoping that if they clear all the way out, there will be dramatically fewer bumps in our week and those behind us.

I don't think I'd go that far.

When 12/20 was the first full 22 build week, we saw an early exit from ManSquatchers to that build week. I suspect Ford is just giving themselves room to get their tooling and lines set up.

As far as I know, it's equally likely that Ford is lining up as many ManSquatches as possible to pressure test a build week - and the week they're targeting is Valentine's Day

I fully believed I lucked out. My dealer didn't reach out to me about converting to 22, so I suspect they didn't reach out to others. I think going in to re-order pushed me way up the line.

Ok...i couldn't stand not knowing...i called.

Jan 5th!! I updated the 1/03 Tracking Spreadsheet.

I also asked if MAP production line was going to be shut down between Christmas and New Year. She replied, "they are supposed to be working".

I then asked if she had heard of Bronco6g; she had. So of course I told her about the Christmas Cookies of Cheer we sent to MAP to show our appreciation. She thought that was, "really special, and knows they are gonna enjoy it"!

Ok...back to wrapping giftys!
