I have no doubt. I just don't want to deal with it possibly being in a shop for 8 months getting fixed after waiting 1.5 years just to get it.
Don’t cross a black cat’s path
You people bragging that you have no issues at 2k miles crack me up. Talk to me when you have at least 30k. 👍🤣
Average miles per year in US is 13,500miles. Remind me in 20 months to talk to you at my 30k service

I understand where your coming from and I get it. Cause for concern, sure. I am at a point in my life where anything can go wrong in life and especially with a new car. If something happens, I will deal with it. It’s is what it is.

You have a right to question your purchase. It’s your life and your money. If something does happen, trust that it will be taken care of via warranty. I think that I am just happy to have a Bronco after 483 days.

Not understanding this thread. There are hundreds of thousands of 2.7s in F150s worldwide. I have one in my 2019 - driven it hard since new and has 50k kms on it. No issues whatsoever.

Not sure if the 2.7 bashing is warranted given the very high number of reliable engines out on the streets. My .02

I'd get an extended warranty that covers you up to 5 years. Then at 5 years sell it and get another, or just get a jeep like me.

Ok. I'm sorry but it's one 2.7 after another failing. This is getting to be waaay more concerning as the weeks go on.

I'm getting to the point where I'm either going to change my order to the 2.3L or switch to a Jeep.

If you don't think this is a big deal just wait until you finally get your Bronco after months to years of waiting and then it grenades and your Bronco ends up at a dealership getting fixed for months. Not something I'm willing to go through.

Just listen to this guy's story. Um yeah. No thanks. Definitely don't want to be another 2.7 casualty. Honestly these quality issues are pissing me off. Not really excited to get a Bronco anymore. You??
Talk about drama and irrational fear…this entire forum, we have 4-5 issues on early deliveries…thousands delivered and 4-5. Obviously there is an issue with some, but we are way less than 1%. Man up, chill, and enjoy a fantastic truck that almost absolutely will have 0 engine problems…stay off the soap operas and outliers crying on YouTube and you’ll be fine.

Those 2.7s in the F150s were not built for the Bronco and not built during the pandemic with 3rd party supply issues for quality parts. Can't even compare this 2.7 to the previous F150s history. This pandemic has a lot of things jacked up.

I'm getting the 2.3 for the manual, but I'm more concerned about the recent steering gear failures.

Yeah so basically don't learn from other people mistakes or problems right? If there's a real issue with a certain vehicle or anything else and you see others talking about it from there experience what you ignore it?? Good luck with that.

Bronco’s look awesome, I can’t deny it. I drooled over the classic late 60’s rigs my friends had back in my CJ7 days. The new Bronco announcement got me jonesing for a new Moab rig too, so I have to give it credit. But reliability worries with modern Fords and any vehicle’s 1st year design issues are what took me back to Jeep after several years out of the 4x4 scene. I’m happy with my choice ultimately. These things cost too much to chance it on an unproven vehicle in my opinion.
Classic Dodge reliability ...

Every time I sit in a Ford, I cringe and expect it to not start. Just sayin'

2k on mine and no problems. I love it. Bought the extended warranty so I should be good.
