ok, I have 2.

That the volume control is on the left hand of the steering wheel. Maybe I'm just more of a left handed driver. But it drives me nuts that I can easily access volume in 2 places with my hands, left hand on the wheel, right hand on the gear shifter (easily access the volume dial right in front of it) but to change the station I need to move my hands all over the place! I change the channel more than I adjust the volume.

No volume auto reset. (is this maybe a Ford thing?) But in like the last 3 cars I owned, if you had the volume turned all the way up, and you shut the car off, you could set an auto volume level when you turned the car back on. I've scared the crap outta myself a few times already because of this! haha

oh wait. 3.

Windshield wipers don't go down when you turn off the car. (again, maybe a Ford thing?)
i think they put the volume controls and such on the left side to be supplemental for the 7 speed (or those who like to rest on the shifter). i know a lot of people put their hand back on the wheel after shifting but i’ve always liked resting it on the gear shifter, even in an auto. it always annoyed me that i had to raise my hand off the shifter in my jeep to change the volume on my steering wheel when it was easier to just turn the knob šŸ˜‚. anyways, that’s just my thoughts. more practical for those who rest on the shifter.

My crawler gear likes to jump out randomly if I don't hold it in. Also the parking brake gets confused if you let off the clutch in neutral to fast while turning off your car. Had a couple of scary moments so now I always park the car in gear to avoid it rolling if it decides to disengage the parking brake.
i was pretty disappointed when i found out that it was an electric parking break instead of a handbrake. i know that this will always be a pet peeve of mine and it just won’t feel right throwing it in neutral without ripping the parking break up with brute strength šŸ˜‚

[*]Cup storage has been a complaint on a lot of recent vehicles. With the increase in popularity of "Yeti" sized bottles, why not have somewhere to store. I found the small cargo net on door does OK. I know, "first world problems" but for a vehicle targeted to outdoor use, think of those who might carry stuff like this.

I had similar thoughts until I rode with the top off and also had it off road. The net secured paper, water bottle, gear without it rattling or blowing around.

It is a trade off, but I get it and.i was happy I had the net in those situations.

My 2 door so far is perfect. Took me a day or so but I finally figured out how ro adjust the ambient footwell lighting.

Anyone know how to stop the rear defroster from automatically turning on after you press the car start button (when originally started with remote start)? No matter what settings I change this keeps happening.

Yeah, I’m definitely going to be weirded out by this. So what happens when you’re stopped on a hill? Does it auto engage?

I don't have my Bronco (being built today!) but in our Jeep Grand Cherokee, the ambient temperature determines if the heated seats/steering wheel/rear defroster turn on when you remote start.

Is there a menu setting where you can turn that on/off on the Bronco? That's my initial thought, but as I said, I don't have my Bronco yet for real world application.

See, but that's my point!

If your right hand is on the shifter, even in an auto, then your left hand is on the wheel. So you can turn volume down with your left hand easily, and then with your right hand on the shifter, the volume knob isn't far at all. In fact, I don't even take my hand fully off the shifter, just kinda slide up my hand, wrist still on the shifter.

But to change channel, I have to fully move my right hand up to the screen or the steering wheel.

Maybe it's just me. Haha.

No, but it will engage/disengage with the engine running, just like a mechanical lever.

The problem that the electrical parking brake solves - is by automatically DISENGAGING when touching the throttle in-gear. No more burnt parking brake shoes.

It does require learning a whole new process to park a manual trans model. Roll to stop, shifter in neutral, reach around your leg to find parking brake switch, and engine shuts off due to Auto Start/Stop feature. Put shifter in gear. Exit vehicle and get two loud honks because you forgot to push the ignition switch!

Why would you not park it in gear  ? That is standard practice for a manual transmission. Forward gear if facing uphill with the wheels turned to the street & reverse if facing downhill with the wheels tuned into curb.
I've heard different people tell me different things. I've heard what you have said. I've also heard if its flat leave it in neutral so if someone hits your parked car it doesn't hurt the tranmission. I've heard park it in second gear so if the trans is damaged you can still drive it to the garage. I've even heard a crazy story about a car catching fire and the starter solenoid turned the car over and started driving it since it was in gear. Driverless flaming car moving down the road. All I'm saying is that the auto disengage is a little finicky in my opinion. Enough to make me stop for a few seconds to ensure it didn't disengage when I didn't want it to. While I'm on the topic if you are reversing on a downhill (I live on the side of a mountain) you don't use the throttle that much because of gravity naturally moving the car. Because you don't use the throttle you have to manually turn off the park brake because if you just tease the clutch it never disengages.

Yeah but unlike Jar-Jar he is actually endearing and likeable. Doug may not have the best sense of humour or presentation style, but you have to admit his passion for cars isn't fake and he really does love his job.

And the guy isn't afraid to be himself, and that's the coolest thing someone can be.
Definitely! I didn't mean to knock him, I actually enjoy his stuff and subscribe to his channels and sometimes hit up his cars and bids site. He's a cool dude, unique personality, but you can't deny he could quite literally be a muppet and it wouldn't be far off lol. Voice is what does it for me.

After reading through 13 pages I realized that many of the items listed could/should have been resolved during the development of the vehicle.
The windows automatically lowering when you open the door is certainly not new technology. I also have a Mustang (my third S550) and it works perfectly, most people don’t even notice it. I’ve had Challengers in the past and they also worked without issue.
The ice and snow buildup on the rear fender flares should have been caught and rectified long ago. When we got home after driving through a snow storm I had to tell the kids to wait for me to open the rear doors so I could clear the snow away first. Over time I feel this would damage the paint and allow corrosion.
The connectivity issues with CarPlay are inexcusable. This is not new technology. As of right now CarPlay has ā€œdisappearedā€œ from my menu for both paired phones.
The doors not closing properly or having to be closed multiple times is more of a quality control issue that could happen with any vehicle. We have one door that needs to be closed a few times before it latches.

One issue that I have experienced that others didn’t mention is the placement of the headlight switch. On several occasions both my wife and my self have inadvertently bumped the switch with a knee while getting in or out of the driver seat. I even got the angry ā€œwhy did you turn off the automatic headlights on my truckā€? call from my wife after she drove halfway home in the dark with her lights off. She did not believe my explanation. Perhaps this is a short people issue but either way it’s another quirk that needs to be dealt with.

In the end though, it’s still a much more enjoyable vehicle than the Wranglers we’ve had in the past.
