why not buy another bronco, and trade it when your order is ready? i understand your frustration, but if you spend a little time on the computer/phone, there are deals to be had. ive bought a 2dr wildtrak and 4dr badlands while waiting on my raptor (thats been built for a month). both were shipped in from over 1000miles away. neither had adm. whenever ford decides to ship the raptor, i have the option of trading in at a profit. its a win win.

Honestly if you didn't want a Raptor, you shouldn't have switched to get an earlier build date. There was no guarantee a Raptor would ever be built before whatever day 1 reservation you had. Also, if you're willing to pay 15-20K more for a Raptor over the trim you really did want then looking for your build with a 5-10k ADM probably would have been a better choice.

I understand why people changed their builds to get one earlier... but I would have rather paid ADM than get a Bronco I didn't want.

I'm not a Day 1 reservation, I'm not even a 2020 reservation, and I got my Vin for my Raptor. My dealer had told me I likely wouldn't see my Badlands order for a year or two if I had waited for it, but I always wanted the Raptor more I just wasn't sure when it would come out. If I had a choice between my original Badlands order in my driveway today or my Raptor order which should be here in the next 3 months, I would still choose my Raptor.

My Raptor is technically a GT allocation, but I wasn't the winner. The original winner never responded so it was transferred to me.

Again you aren’t one of the people I was interested in hearing from as stated in my original post, congrats for you for beating the system and getting something you shouldn’t have. That doesn’t make your point though. If you read my original statement, it states ford and granger both implied that switching to the raptor would get it quicker, and I did choose to switch to the raptor 1 because of the quicker turn around and 2 because I wanted a raptor. My thread was started for people with day one and early reservations who have AGAIN been misled by ford, not for people who stumbled upon an allocation or people who habe 3 regular broncos and their dealer gave them a dealer allocation. This is for the people who AGAIN have been misled and forgotten about, in my eyes the true bronco people who followed from before reservations opened and sat waiting on opening night to get their reservation in, not people who jumped in after all the dust cleared. I’m happy for you that you are getting one, but again your opinion is not required or asked as specified in my posts.

A little surprised that at this point most would have stayed with their original order. Maybe more votes will chime in.
I really want the BRaptor. My biggest issue is the dealership I'm stuck with. I don't know if I would even have my original Wildtrak order by now, so delivery isn't a factor in my vote. It's been so long since I first reserved I've had life changes, retired and my hair is getting gray.

The reason why most would have stayed with their original order is because the majority of people voting probably aren’t yet scheduled.

That is a huge factor; and also not what we were sold upon when asked if we wanted to switch to the raptor gt allocation, like I said knowing what we know now back then what would you do?

Well maybe you’ve had a different experience than the rest of us but I will tell you that no one at Granger has ever indicated any build or delivery date on any of my Bronco or Raptor orders. They have only told me where I was in their list, and most recently told me that I was at the top of their list.

Ford has only ever said that delivery of the Raptor would begin in the Summer of 2022.

So, what exactly do you think has happened to you?

I was told at time of switching that the raptor would be more likely to be built before my badlands build. I am day 1 reservation, I was also told by granger I was number 1 on their list , all this from hunter, I also tried put my second order in right before the cutoff off of my22 from a day 3 reservation only to be told by hunter it was 2 late which was incorrect and I had it in a day before it closed and confirmed with Zach the next day who apologized for it not getting done but there was nothing he could do now. So yes time and time again I have been mislead not only by ford but also by granger. This thread was not meant to be a bitch thread, am I disappointed, yes, am I frustrated, yes. But at no time did I want this thread to be about complaining, I just wanted to find out if people were thinking like me and wish they had kept their original order knowing what they know now back then. And by the vote I can see that I am not the only one. And to say “it’s mostly people who haven’t been scheduled” yes of course it is l, that is part of my original post, people who have NOT been scheduled and have early day 1 or early day 2 reservations.

Watching gatekeepers lean on the no true Scotsman fallacy to validate their entitlement is quite amusing
“How you like them apples” one day you’re gonna realize you spent a lot of money on a college education you could have gotten for a couple of bucks at your local library! Thanks for enlightening us all with your knowledge and adding to the thread!

The GT stands for golden ticket, move along ! If you know then you know , I don’t want people to vote who went to their dealer asking for a allocation, I know how they would vote, I wanted people who received a GT(golden ticket) and were selected for an opportunity to change their original reservation of a regular bronco to a Raptor
Well this response is real pleasant. I too will move along! Lol

At this point the majority of us still dont have a Bronco, that seems to be the theme whether its a GT or not. I could go get one today and spend 70k, but that is not the point.

So I have an interesting situation. I received a GT to convert my day 1 reservation into a Raptor. As I was converting my original Wildtrak order to the Raptor, Ford scheduled my WT for production even thought I accepted Ford's invitation to convert within an hour of receiving the email. My dealer said they couldn't change the original order since it was scheduled for production and ordered me a Raptor back in March, I have an email from Ford with an order #. This week I received an email from my Ford dealer that my WT was in. They said my Raptor order is still in the process, but they don't know when it will be built. I'm not even sure my GT is associated with my Raptor since it seems the whole ordering process got screwed up. I can take the WT now and then the Raptor when it comes in. When I ordered the WT 2 years ago I needed a truck, now I don't. Do I take the WT now in case the Raptor never comes through or just wait for the Raptor?
