We live in Northern Canada where it regularly get to -40 with tons of ice so we need winter tires.
I found Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3 winter tires at a tire retailer near here that are exactly the size of the OEM tires: 315/70 R17 with studs so we're all good for rubber. The tire store mounted up the rubber on new steel wheels complete with TPMS sensors. Unfortunately the store got the wrong sized hub so we can't install the tires on the Bronco :(
What is the actual hub size required on the steelies? I think 93.1 or larger will work?
Is there a steel rim that will work best, and do I need to be concerned about locking mechanism on the driven side?
What range of backspacing will work?

For information the tire store got 78.1 mm hubs so I don't think I have any options to adapt.

Thanks, now I can rest easy knowing the bore I need is 93.1 mm, and there is a Ford P/N option.
Too bad I have to drive 900 km round trip to get this fixed. That's what I get for trusting the kid at the tire store!
I try to shop local but the Nokian dealer in town is notoriously bad to deal with. Slow with crappy staff so I opted for a trip out of town. ugh...

Different question - what are the locator tabs for on the hub? Never seen that before.
