Will there be a 2022 reservation system?

It's another one of those "my dealer said" threads. I tried putting in a brand new order on Friday for a 2022 and I was told that the order can't be officially sent in to Ford until the 2022 reservations open up online. I've already signed a bill of sale with the dealer, they printed out my build and also took a $500 deposit. They told me once the reservation system is back online I will need to hit the reserve button and then I need to contact them so that they can put my order through. At which point I will then get a confirmation email from Ford. Has anyone else heard this version of the process?

I hope Ford makes a decision one way or the other.
Ford can't manage both an allocations and a reservation system at the same time. Pick one.

Agreed. WTF are they doing - just tell us with an official announcement one way or another already, put a stop to this scrambling around musical dealers horseshit & the endless mass confusion mixed in with lying deceitful information.
