I also went with 2D WT for the same reasons as the OP and am totally happy with my decision, my Bronco will rarely see any rocks but should be fine when it does. Sway bar disconnect would be just something else to possibly fail and need a fix.

OP - 2D WT in Albuquerque!!! I have yet to see another 2D (of any trim) on the road since I got mine in December, good to know you're out there.

Not on my EB..............we do not have the same tie rod, guaranteed. I didn't buy the WT for rock crawling..............I don't get the angst. Enjoy your rig man, we are more alike than dissimilar. It is all gouda.

Crazy huh? Had a great day and then folks start acting like you called their baby ugly or something. Even if I posted my EB pics from our Pritchett Canyon run.... The haters would be all, "Well it's not on 42s, with full hydro, front rear steering, cutting brakes, 60's, Atlas and running a stroker, but enjoy your little toy." Then they would tell me all about their Badlands Drain plug.

Yea, they would go nicely with my fanny pack, glacier glasses, roller blades and Barbra Streisand cassette. You know.............cause they are cool.
