Your mechanic is charging too much. My repairs always are about $600 or less. That includes my old 2003 F250 diesel with the fun egr issue. Whenever my charge is less than $600 for something, I make this joke. Fun times.

Nope, not overcharging at all. He comes to me, works on my truck in the back docks while I'm at work (hes a mobile fleet mechanic that works on our International 26' boxes as well). When he's done I get in and drive home.

On top of that his work is impeccable and I trust him, which is worth far more than $300 to me.

oh so we're gonna play this game huh, well i havent driven my 4runner in over 3 months because the trans was bad. and it sat in the drivetrain shop getting repaired for over a month. now that i got it back after my trans complete rebuild it has codes on the dash, needed a new battery, replaced the maf sensor and the a/f ratio sensor and guess what? .... it still runs like crap and rich.... i ready to push this 4runner off a cliff....

Of course! I just dropped $1500 on new KO2s for a Raptor I'm going to sell in a couple months (I hope).

I'm trying to not even look at that truck until my Bronco is on its way.
