But there are tens of thousands of 2.7s driving around not 161. 44 may be low in total but I doubt it is by much as people who have issues bitch…. a lot. If there were way more we’d probably hear about them.

I agree with this I don’t actually think it’s 80%. I just wish we had more visibility into the real numbers.

2800miles on the 2.7, no issues. 11/15/21 build date, engine build date is 21308, so whatever day is the 308th day. I would actually say it feel like the 2.7 has been running a bit stronger after 2500 miles

I’ve got a 2021 Base Bronco with 8,467 miles on it and so far no issues. From what I’ve read it looks like my engine falls RIGHT outside the “hot zone” with a 21228 build #.

I also have a 21228 engine with 13.5k miles. I haven’t heard of any 21228 failures.

You checked fuse box and negative fasteners for torque/being loose. Removed battery cables to reset…
