Another day, another empty inbox.

As many expressed here, the growing frustration is palpable. Myself included. To have a built rig and have it sit in a lot somewhere? And for what? No one knows since @Ford Motor Company decided to go radio silent on it's customers. A simple email saying "Sorry fam, we screwed up and ran into issues with _______, it's being corrected as we speak and you should see movement _____."

I don't think that's asking too much, Ford. I'm sure we can take whatever the reason is, rather than letting wild speculation be the name of the game.

I don't know, just sucks. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking at other options at this point.
Hang in there. Once this is behind us, we can just enjoy the Bronco.

Oh yeah, I've calmed down haha. Stepped away from the computer today, poured myself some bourbon and threw on some Coltrane. All good now.

A friend of ours that works in the plant thats rolling them out commented on my picture online that I should have let him know it was in production, he could have followed it though the plant. He said they were producing 600 a day last week, were laid off this week, and they will be at max capacity next week. Maybe why your sticker changed. Once it had a Build date when it was started, it went really fast!
Did your friend say if the line was cleared prior to shut down or if there are rigs half built on the line?

I think they are about to mass update some of these delivery times. I got an email earlier tonight saying my eta of shipping got changed to 8/19-25. Original eta was July 25 and then after that it was 8/3. Bronco was built on the 19th. Basically the email update says that they require additional time to ensure my satisfaction before delivery. Mine is a 2 door MIC btw.

You’re in transit though. But different than what we’re looking into. Yours should actually be there on or before the 15th.

Question for anyone to answer. Has anyone seen an instance where a bronco with a blend date did not end up getting built in sequence with their rotation number? I know the tracker updates suck, but when it actually shows up is the date what was expected. The blend date or the day after or two not counting shutdowns. The built date doesn't end up being the final QC date right?

Anyway, I had a good day today. Saw my 1st bronco in person at my dealer. Was pretty awesome to finally see. Asked about my build. Called me back and said I had VIN. That's good I guess. 🤣

Where are you finding the in transit info?
Update: mine just switched from 8/18 back to 1990. We’re all in this together!

For our build week, they were behind by about a half a day the whole week. Also, there was some sort of issue on the Ranger line that impacted production on the Bronco line on Tuesday, but I'm unsure of what the issue was or the impact.

My blend date was 7/19 and my built date was 7/20. My ship date was 7/22. The e-mails lagged behind the actual dates by about a day in my case. I suspect this is due to batch processing on a mainframe at Ford. It just seems consistent with mainframe operations that perform batch processing at night. Whenever I did receive an e-mail, it showed up at about 0230 MDT, which would be 0430 Eastern and about a day after the event.

I was one of the lucky ones that actually received the e-mails - it appears slightly more than half our group did not.

For the most part, it appears that the actual production fairly followed the rotation numbers, but some vehicles did not complete the build process, probably stuck in QC. At this point, it's anyone's guess as to why, but I suspect MIC tops are undergoing extra scrutiny because it would be a supply chain nightmare to replace multitudes of MIC tops in the field for manufacturer defects.

Along with that, I suspect if a MIC top is held for QC, it gets put on the lot in an incomplete state until it can be resolved and Ford doesn't communicate the status. This is really conjecture on my part.

Has anyone stuck in what they think is QC been released? Do their built dates still match up roughly with blend date?
