Share a video over at broncosportforum, to address your concerns. The BRaptor section of B6G is not the place to be for this concern.

In general, Usually reverse gears in a transmission are cut in a way that is prone to producing more noise than normal. Or it’s likely brake shudder and there is a TSB for some bushings to be replaced.

A subtle whine MIGHT be normal. A screech is definitely not. Bronco sport is built in the same platform as my Lincoln Corsair, and it definitely doesn't screech in reverse.

To me its Lazy ,crappy dealers like this that turn consumers off to Ford products.
