I’m adding some lights to my Bronco. I don’t have auxiliary switches. So I was wondering where to run the wires for a switch Inside the Bronco? Thanks for any help.

There is a pair of rubber grommets—one on the right side of the vehicle and one on the left side of the vehicle—that is used specifically for wiring. If you have an automatic transmission there is an additional plug in the firewall you can use to pass wires through on the drivers side. (With the manual transmission that plug is used for the clutch pedal.)

I have a video (below) on YouTube for a subwoofer install that shows it all. 32 minute 18 second mark.

Depends where you want your switch. If you're placing the switches on your dash run them through the firewall (theres a rubber boot you can poke a hole through and route the wires through) and put them on the dash (left of steering wheel as an example).

I recommend a switch panel though so that you can add more accessories later and you don't have lots of switches drilled out into your dash. Then you can place the control panel in lots of places. Use adhesive/velcro and stick it to the dash. Use a bolt and use the mounting post ford left you on top of your dash, etc...

We use the switch panels here (and it's what we run in our demo truck, as our truck didn't have upfitters): https://www.4x4truckleds.com/truck-accessories/switch-panels/
