Where in the world is my Bronco???

Howdy all,

I just wanted to start a thread for those of us that have had our Broncos shipped BUT have no idea WHERE IN THE WORLD THEY ARE!
I'll start, Mine was shipped 12/10/22, was able to track and follow it to Illinois where they unloaded it (not sure why it is coming to Texas) on Dec 17ish. There has not been any other updates. My ETA has changed about 6 times with the latest being 1/28-2/3.

I called the rail yard where @Ford Motor Company says it is but the rail yard verifies that it's not sitting there. Basically all I know is it was shipped and stuck in Illinois somewhere, for unknown reasons.

Let me hear your shipping stories, Trying to take my mind off the fact that I am so close but yet SOOOOO far way!!!

There was a similar story to yours. Let me see if I can't find the thread.

Basically the Bronco was "lost" and the only reason it was found was a conductor took some random photos at the railyard as examples of the unload process and the ladies Bronco was sitting there.

Does your dealer have access to the VinView software? That could help shed some light.

Really won't give you the warm and fuzzies but this has happened to atleast one other person and it ended well for them.

dealer says its sitting in Illinois, Gateway Yard. I have called the rail yard and the car lot next to it. Rail yard says they don't unload anything there. But @Ford Motor Company says its there.

I trust my dealer, they wouldn't sell it. I am friends with the owner . Unfortunately, I feel like my story is about the same as the other. Prob sitting in the rail yard in a back corner.

Yeah I was joking, but I'm sure it does happen. I shake my head at things like this. How does the Manufacturer and Dealer not know where a vehicle is? That's money sitting out there. Good luck on your journey. I hope it comes home soon. SMH @Ford

Odds are your car is in the container still and the railyard is none the wiser as to what is in the container. Or you switched containers and the Bronco is at the dealer already.

My railcar sat at Gateway for 5 days then started moving again. It was frustrating since it only took 3 days from MAP to there. Once it started moving again, it was in Oklahoma the next night!

I called and tried this morning and they said there is no way to do that?? I am beyond frustrated
